But yeah it was basically just saccharine adorableness/typical magical girl. Boyd's right that season 2 will be better, though. And yeah, read the manga in the meantime~! If you want.

Honestly, I'm surprised by how pretty the Prisma Illya anime was.

I was surprised to find out Ufotable also animated the openings for Tales of Xillia 1 and 2, and they also animated the Symphonia OVAs.

If anything he was actually disappointed that Spoiler: click to toggle Hercules didn't give him a good fight. But since he's Gilgamesh he was still a dick about even that. It's more that he has that same cocky personality but lacks the actual awesomeness to back it up, especially towards the end of UBW route. There's also very little of him not just being a straight up dick because talking to Shirou etc. UBW spoilers Like, that whole last fight against Shirou was just wut-tier "rule of cool" getting dominated by him, which is pretty disappointing considering that it's GILGAMESH. I loved seeing the bad endings too, I'd intentionally pick the "wrong" ones just so I could see how Shirou was going to die this time, kinda helped that the wrong choices were actually more intelligent decisions in some cases too. Oh god, Miral is breaking out the Satterible-tier fangirling except with Umineko instead of Touhou. Pretty sure most people here have played other VNs, F/SN is just the only one where literally everyone and their dog has played through at least some of it. I'll get around to reading more VNs when I can actually make a decision on which one to read next.
