Country: #226# True Name: Miral	I have no idea why you would start a VN with the intention of only reading 1/3 or 1/4 or 1/5 of it but that's your choice. And an episode in Umineko is shorter than a route in Kira Kira. Plus they were all written six months apart so they assume you took a break between them.

I have it, but I haven't started it yet. I meant to do the other routes of Kira Kira first. I'm like a little more than halfway through Kirari route or something like that. ...But then Peytral told me about Yumina and I've been doing that since. I'm at 2/3 routes completed. Also well Miral it seems like Silvandorf just intends to do some of it at a time, rather than just doing one route than not going back ever again. So like playing a game with two playable characters, doing it with one, and then not playing again with the other until later.

I love how the whole story threw the MONEY IS EVERYTHING in your face with subtle points going HEY MONEY ISN'T EVERYTHING. Of course some were quite a bit less subtle than others, but whatever. Kyousuke going pure douchebag just so Haru could have no stain on her name was pretty glorious, not to mention disconnecting all the ties with the other girls too to prevent their involvement with his criminal state too. I loved how we got to see Kyousuke's thoughts during all those moments. His acting is top tier. I also liked when the story showed you any of the character's thought patterns. People's thoughts intrigue me. Also, CAN YOU HEAR THE BEAST'S ROAR?

I actually had an issue with the epilogue on general principle - that it pretty much forewent every thought of a happy ending and smacked the characters one last time - but it was pulled off expertly. It was upsetting to see how badly doing that hurt Kyousuke. Although at least they got something, 8 years down the road, but by that point he really seems damaged all over again. Ugh. Who was your favorit character?
