Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

That town in Dark Dawn that's [radio edit]ing aggravating to try and navigate, but you seem to find yourself there all the time late game.

Yeah, I think that's vague enough to avoid the spoiler rule. The GBA games' similar town applies too, but isn't nearly as bad.

You mean the one where you have to give that one girl the thing and then she gives you something back? I actually thought that one was remarkably simple.

Takes too long to navigate and too much precision to do it while doing something else, for how many times you use it.

It's a minor thing, mainly because I couldn't think of a town I disliked that much. >_>

Wheey! I've became a human being!! I am very handsam!

I considered saying that but I feel like it's more of an "urban dungeon" than a town.

Oh man, agreed with the DD town. Can't believe I didn't remember that. Very frustrating to walk through, with all the different levels...

Meh, guess it's my preference, I mean I had no trouble navigating it at all since it's all just branches off of the main bridge, but whatever.

A different town from the same game that I hated the design of, though, was the one where the rulers are returning characters from last game. Too much stuff lying around, getting in the way.

Also, yes, Zozo. [radio edit] that town.

Ryu wins. >_> Easily the most visited city late game.

Wow this really says something about DD's towns, huh?

Oh lawl. Yeah, good point. I wasn't counting that one as a town because there's like nobody there and all.

The one Kiki mentioned was annoying because of stair placement, but otherwise I didn't mind it that much.

Oh, here's another one that annoyed me: Sprohm from FFTA. I always hated battling there, especially when you start at the bottom.

Sanctum from Aion. Let me describe the layout.

You teleport in, and go up a grand staircase. The bank/broker is to your right, the skill trainers to the left. All's fine so far.

Shops are in the middle of town, but lol MMO shops.

Then there is one side with a bridge to the right side, the left side has a floating platform thing that moves you from one piece to another. Why? I don't know why, it's slow and annoying.

Crafting area and stigma master is at the far side of Sanctum, a good 3 minute run from the broker/warehouse area. Or a small fee will let you teleport. That begins to add up after a while of doing it when doing major crafting runs. And then there's the biggest pain, Outer Dock. Pre-2.0 patch required a trip on a slow moving boat from the central part of sanctum to the dock. Waiting for it to arrive, waiting for it to open up to let you on, waiting for it to leave, waiting for it to slowly creep over to the outer dock, then waiting for it to open. Takes forever! And then you finish whatever you need to do out there, and it leaves before you catch it, so you have to wait even more. Trying to jump for it is suicide, Sanctum is a floating city, where falling off = death.

Ugh...

Oh yeah, I remember that goddamn slow moving platform from my brief foray into Aion. What a frigging joke.

Whenever I was making a descent in Sanctum, I'd just take my chances and try to glide across.

Ugh, yeah, it's... well, it's... No, I can't really find anything to defend it. The inn is a ridonkulous distance from the entrance, there are tons of one-way areas, and everything is just so disorienting.

The problem with Horteka is that although you can get a sense on your bearings, it has so many one-way areas as Draco said and it takes a good few visits to get the layout of the place down properly. x_x

I love the style/look of it though. Fits well with the continent.
