Nintendo boss? Wouldn't that be Satoru Iwata? Also, some Ace Attorney games made you use the mic. And Trace Memory as well... |

Ace Attorney never made you use it actually. Totally optional. And yes, Iwata's the true boss as CEO. Did you know that former Nintendo CEO Hiroshi Yamauchi is (or perhaps was, this was like two or three years ago I learned this) the richest man in Japan? |

Really? I'm pretty sure you had to in the last case of the first Ace Attorney game, to blow away dust for fingerprinting, and a couple of the games made you say "Objection" at the end. |

Ah, you did have to blow stuff in the DS-only cases. My bad. Pretty sure you could still use a button press at all the times they make you say Objection at the end, though. |

The big ones still will--Capcom, Konami, Square-Enix, Activision, etc., though even them I don't expect to use it in every game. For small developers, the lack of requirement there will really help make the 3DS more accessible for them. Intentionally making N64 difficult to develop for (their line of thinking was that if it's difficult, only those who are truly talented will develop and we won't have a bunch of garbage games) was a huge mistake for Nintendo in the past, so now they do whatever they can to make the process more accessible to third parties. |
