Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

What games do you feel deserve remakes?

State your reason(s) if you want.

For me, FF7 is one of them. Stop adding to the Compilation, Square, and remake this dang game already. It needs it. The character models are laughable, the translation is bad (at certain points of the game, it's on par with FF2 US' translation), and the game is simply too easy. Also, voice acting would work really well for certain scenes if they got good VAs. The game would probably sell more than any other FF game to date, so why they haven't done this boggles my mind.

Chrono Cross is another one. They could improve several things, such as actually having the last 10% of the story come to you naturally, instead of throwing it all in your face at the end of the game. They could also either remove most of the playable characters, or if not, make them have unique dialogue or something so they're at least worth using. As it is now, only around 10 of the 44 characters serve a purpose in the plot and get any development at all.

The Legend of Dragoon. That game needs to have a version with improved graphics, voice acting(though I like the unmatchable narm of the original voices), and an updated translation/script. They could also add more Additions and upgrade the Dragoon system.

Ys IV and V. They're the only Ys games released before 2000 that haven't gotten official remakes. D:

Uh... Gotcha Force. It'd be amazing to see that remade for Wii or 3DS.

Hmm, I think that a remade Dragon Warrior Monsters would be great.

Keep the random map idea, the monster farm and breeding but improve the graphics, sound and inventory system. It could be a great DS game.

The second game too. And none of this skillpoint bullshit either, the original system should be kept intact.

Nah, nothing really comes to mind, except to continue the Mega Man Powered Up series, though interviews and information suggest that Mega Man Universe is outright replacing any notion of MMPU2.

Thanks Poui.

There was this game that came out sometime in the nineteen nineties. When I got my hands on it, I had no idea what I would be in for. I got a game expecting to drop it after one completion like I had every other except Kirby Super Star. But what happened instead was ENDLESS HOURS thrown into one extremely enjoyable game that I still rave about today. However, its graphics in comparison to what is available today are laughable.

If Starfox 64 were remade, fully upgrade, for the Wii or preferably whatever comes AFTER the Wii(even maybe the 3DS) I hope that it keeps the gameplay mostly the same, but add in more areas. The option to do some formerly arwing-only missions as the landmaster and vice versa, multiple zones for each planet depending on how you reach it, like how there are two Venoms you can play on. It would be the BEST thing and I would love Nintendo forever.

Revenge of the 'Gator Pinball needs a remake, like, years ago. That game is my favorite ever. <3 They could add it so the high scores don't get erased when you turn off the Gameboy. And that's it. No messing with perfection. Or maybe a save feature somehow.

Do we know how extensive the overhaul for Star Fox 3D is yet? It very well could be more than just graphics.

But either way it's funny because a remake of Star Fox 64 would be a remake of a remake.

That'd be a port, not a remake.

Not to mention, a romhacker could make a patch to add that to the original game without changing anything. Heck, it might already exist.

Uh guys, SF643D *is* a remake. Even if it just gets a graphics overhaul, it will probably (and unfortunately) have new VAs as well.

Jet Set Radio is one. It's a game I can see perfectly for XBLA/PSN. Also, NiGHTs, but the original and localized since the PS2 remake never came out over here. (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

Also, Balloon Fight and Wave Race 64. /o/

Basically the majority of Fire Emblem games that were never released outside of Japan. And they should actually be released outside of Japan.

1 and 2 are basically remade in 3, right? And then 4 I've heard is very good, but then I've heard 5 is pretty bad.

Monsho no Nazo (FE3) has a toned-down remake of the first game, which was already remade as Shadow Dragon over here. Gaiden, Genealogy of the Holy War, and Thracia 776 have never been remade.

Dragon Quest 3 already has two remakes. One for GBC and one for SNES.
