Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Wheey! I've became a human being!! I am very handsam!

Counting "Action" RPGs as not RPGs (considering this topic didn't specify) is really stupid

And I still have to say that no, the Castlevania games are not RPGs. There are numbers, yes, but numbers =/= RPG. It is far more platformer than anything else. If those are RPGs then so is Zelda 2.

Yeah they are platformers. But they're so strongly influenced by RPG elements that I'd consider them Platformer/RPG hybrid things. But yeah I guess they wouldn't strictly be RPGs...

I never said it wasn't an RPG; just that it was a different type of RPG in my opinion. And fine, sorry I can't play every RPG ever like some people here, I guess not having a strong interest in the genre of a video game means you still have to understand everything about it from head to toe and not doing so means you must be dumb or something. Just peachy!

/mini rant over.

I never really got why they didn't count as RPGs. I mean, Oath in Felghana has craptons of platforming too, but it's still counted as an RPG.

Also Peo what the hell are you talking about.

That's right, neophyte, you didn't say that they don't exist. I did.

Sound the horn and call the cry: "How many of them can we make die?"

Really now, there's no call to be condescending.
