Who else here likes this game? I bought it quite a few years ago, then ended up getting rid of it since I claimed I disliked it. Finally decided to play it again via emulation in 2009, and I think it's a great game. It's no Chrono Trigger, but it's still very fun to play. It also has an amazing soundtrack, which is something even haters of the game usually agree on. I think I'm gonna order a black label copy off of Ebay soon and play through it again. I really don't like emulating PS1 games because there are usually too many issues involved while playing. Plus, there's nothing like having the real copy. I was gonna wait for the PSN release, but screw that; it may never even reach the US store. |

Oh my god the soundtrack. I listen to it often. X3 It's so beautiful, easily one of the best I've ever heard. My sister even bought me the official soundtrack CDs from Japan! As for actually playing the game, never played it... 8D;;; |

It's even better when you hear it in-game! "People Seized with Life" playing before and during the fight with Miguel is glorious. Same deal with Frozen Flame and the scene it plays in. |

Played the game, liked what I played, but wasn't able to get far before my computer crashed (I was emulating). Acknowledged that it is a Chron game and not Chrono Trigger 2, though, so I was willing to enjoy it for what it was. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it just canonised the fact that the CT cast does not have a long happy life after the ending. |

I actually prefer it that way. It makes CC's story more interesting, and happy endings are overdone. |

Best soundtrack of all time Story could be better, has its weaknesses, but the people who think it ruined the series are just mad this game isn't "Chrono Trigger 2: The Quest for Fanservice." Battle system is strange, sometimes I think it's bad and sometimes I think it's good. Overall an 8/10 game |

I'm starting to really want to play this again. I won't have the money to order it for another week, so it'll be at least two weeks before I get to play it. ;-; Oh well! Worth the wait. |

Happy endings may be overdone, but that doesn't mean they aren't good. CT's was good, and positive, in just about every way. Then you find out what happened.. and it's like being punched in the dick. That said, I mostly agree with Crash's assessments. |

True, CT did end quite nicely. Although the PSX cutscene basically outright tells you that something bad happened; you clearly see Guardia get slaughtered and someone pick up the Masamune (you find out who conquered Guardia in the DS version). Then again, I believe the PSX version was released after CC, sooo... |
