Network ended well at the third game, it went on for two more, and redeemed itself in the sixth. I'll agree with RnR - they'd better not try to make any more - move on to the next in the line. The Zero of the Network timeline, so to speak. |

According to Amazon it's not out yet. But a page I was reading earlier on either Protodude's or Heat Man's site said it was due in March. So I don't know what happened there. In the meantime, I'll give my own speculation: Jewel Man DWN-069 Good Point: Fabulous Bad Point: Hard-headed Like: Male robots Dislike: Vacuums edit: And TMMN says it's out April 12, so there you go. EDIT the 2nd: And oh man, I really hope Dr. Light's bad point is still "Douchie." Anyone taking bets on whether Gyro Man's like will be Greek Sandwich or Bamboo-copter? My money's on the sandwich aww yeah |

I made a Jewel Man AR thing on the 3DS's graffiti function. I still wonder if that book is worth it to buy since in like 5 seconds after it is released everyone is going to put the info on the wikias. |

[radio edit] you TMMN for disabling hotlinking Just look on The Mega Man Network, it's like their fourth or fifth article right now Anyway, I find it really interesting how there's been a ridiculous rush of merchandise of all different kinds for Mega Man in the past year or so, while the prominence of the game series themselves seems to be slowing down a bit. |

Wow, I love that art style. And I think the thing about the games being less prominent is kind of related to the conclusion of the Zero series. I THINK a reason why we didn't get another ZX game is because of low sales, kinda like the issue with MHX and MMPU. Classic's revival kind of put the foot in the door there but without Zero to whore out Capcom seems to be slowing down. ...This is of course not factoring in lazy/horrible things that take away from the franchise's popularity like X6/7 and the horrible "remake" of BN1. |

Eh... I've been calling it that for some time now. Don't know if most people do it, but I've gotten in the habit of it. @ZXA: Yeah, they jumped the shark with ZXA. Between the fact that you're not playing as the title model, and the HORRIBLE voice acting, the game bombed. However, it'd be nice if they'd wrap up the story at least. Hell, if they went and fixed a lot of the problems with the game, it might even save the series to go onto a fourth or fifth game... |

The voice acting was less 'horrible' and more 'mediocre.' I think most people BAWW about ZXA because it changed too many things, or something. It wasn't a bad game at all. |

Huh, most people I've talked to outside of here have said that ZXA was a vast improvement over ZX. |

The voice acting doesn't really apply since the thing Capcom was tracking were the Japanese sales, and the voice actors weren't cheap amateur ripoffs there. Not playing as "MegaMan" or "Zero" probably didn't help to fans who didn't care about the storyline/Axl though... That said, I'm not sure what your problem was with ZXA aside from not playing as the usual characters. The levels were okay, the music was much better than ZX (imo), etc. |

You can't even really call it the "usual" characters when they had only been in one game before, can you? Or do you mean usual characters as in the robots that most people know. |

Model ZX and Model X play exactly like Zero and X would, aside from no EX Skills/Weapons, so while they aren't the same characters, gameplay wise there's little difference (and the fact that they aesthetically look similar helps, while the fact that Model A looks like Axl probably doesn't). After all, there seems to be a small camp of people who wanted ZX only so they could play as the "Guardians." |

ZXA DID have better balance, I'll give you that. However, it had its own issues - while nerfing the HX Tornado, they actually BUFFED the ZX Spinslash - which was already one of the most powerful attacks int he game. What I personally wish they'd done with the game, though? Some models are just plain better than others. For example, Model L/LX is worthless outside of the water - they could have done something to make it better. Model F/FX is only really good for clearing obstacles or making trick shots. Models ZX, HX, and PX were really all that got used... Speaking of which, playing as the pseudoroids in ZXA is where I think they jumped the shark. Once you got a model, you never played as the psudoroids in normal combat again. They were mostly useless. |
