Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

http://kotaku.com/5951557/flash-version-of-mega-man-xover-is-a-withering-rebuke-from-the-series-biggest-fans

"We did this to show how effortless it is to create the core *feel* and gameplay of Xover,"

What a bunch of delusional anti-Capcom fanboys. Because it would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much harder to make a replica of a normal Mega Man game...
One of the guys who made this made a whole Mega Man FPS in the DOOM engine so he probably knows what he's talking about when it comes to the effort needed
The "core" of the 2D Mega Man games they love so much is exactly the same as this only you can actually move the character.

It just seems like typical mindless Capcom bashing to me.

Wheey! I've became a human being!! I am very handsam!

The choices provided by the ability to stop moving or move backwards at any time create many more interesting scenarios which can be introduced through the level design, enemy placement, and enemy AI. Fights against large enemies in particular take on a completely different dynamic

That's not what I meant... But you guys are right, I suppose what I said was foolish. Yesterday was not one of my better days.

Rockman Xover does look and play terrible though, even by iOS standards... Auto-scrolling might work if it was faster-paced, had much more going on and had a little more control over the character, but not what they've shown us so far.

You know something funny though, I don't know if you guys ever heard about the mobile game Inafune was making, J.J. ROCKETS, it's pretty much a ripoff of Mega Man. It came out a few months ago, and happens to have gameplay very similar to Xover. So Mega Man may have ripped off of the game that was ripping off of Mega Man.

Never heard of it. I can't seem to find any videos of it, though.

I haven't seen it in action either but I know it's an autoscrolling/auto-running platformer

and the aesthetics and themed bosses are pretty clearly Mega Man

I'd be worried about what he'd do to President Lincoln before the forests.

I know Mega Man would risk himself for Mister Lincoln.

Well at least the graphics look fairly unique and don't just rip sprites directly out of another game... Wish I could see a video of it, though.

So in case you guys missed it yesterday, at the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary tournament Capcom announced Street Fighter X Mega Man, a Classic Mega Man game where Mega Man fights Street Fighter opponents. It's available for free starting on the 17th (The date of the anniversary) on PC.

looks like the opponents are
Ryu
Rose
Blanka
Chun-Li
Rolento
Dhalsim
Urien (implied by Mega Man using Aegis Reflector)
?????

And one screenshot I saw was the boss rematch room which was pretty clearly the S.I.N. Headquarters so Seth is likely present as well, perhaps as an endgame boss?

There's another, unofficial Mega Man game coming out on PC that same day, as seen here:

I love how Capcom's celebration for Megaman's 25th anniversary is a game they didn't make.

They didn't make Mega Man 9 or 10 either but I didn't see the awful fandom throw a shitfit about those.

Ah, so it turns out the other opponent is C. Viper. I thought that might be the case, since there were no SF4 representatives otherwise and I saw an attack that looked like something she had (the red laser), but technically she only had that move in a non-Street Fighter game and I thought maybe the laser in the trailer was like a super-liberal interpretation of one of Rose's attacks.

Also, when you beat a boss, the "get equipped with" scene has you demonstrating the attack on Dan
