Sounds like you need help. Here, have his attack pattern. Credit goes to Garr202 of GameFAQs. Dark Contact Attack Fulminous Edge *Break Attack Dark Contact Element Swap (does nothing) Haunt Curse Fulminous Edge Bind *Crucible Attack Dark Contact Fulminous Edge Attack Element Swap Attack Condemn Charon Curse DJINN STORM Haunt Fulminous Edge He will skip Break and Crucible if the correct conditions are not met. The key here is to make sure that he will use Djinn Storm on the first of his three turns. You can do this by making him skip Break and/or Crucible. For example, lets say he starts with his turns looking like this: Curse, Fulminous Edge, Bind. At this point, the attack set that djinn storm will go off looks like this: Curse, Djinn Storm, Haunt. That is not what you want. So, have no Djinn set to standby and have him skip Crucible. His next turn will be this: Attack, Dark Contact, Fulminous Edge. Now you have his attack pattern set up to nullify Djinn Storm. After he uses Condemn, Charon, Curse, have someone with IVY or DOLDRUM nullify his next turn, and he will miss using djinn storm. This does not mess up your pattern, and as long as you always have someone buffed so he doesn't skip Break, and have one djinn on standby to trigger Crucible, you can keep his pattern set up to nullify Djinn Storm. |

Thanks for the advice, Raven. However, I think I can beat Dully if both of my parties are in the low 50's, WITHOUT using attack pattern manipulation. I was so so so close with my current setup. I just couldn't keep myself alive and comfortable enough to launch some offense. |

Yeah, low 50s are definitely enough, that's where I was and I didn't know a thing about his attack pattern except that he would only use Break if necessary. |

Using an Anti-Djinn Storm tactic, I beat him at high 30s to low 40s ![]() Since I didn't have Pure Wish, Rief and his godmodded Mercury Power was actually one of my most useful members. Using an Anti-Djinn Storm tactic makes the fight a hell of a lot more fair. It's actually a proper toe-to-toe fight rather than fearing all your characters being made useless when Djinn Storm comes up. >_> Oh yeah, and that previous post I made doesn't seem to say the most important part: He can start ANYWHERE from within that attack pattern. So pay close attention to what he uses and the order he uses it in on the first turn in particular. |

The attack pattern is easily noticeable from within the battle, at least in general (especially if you were familiar with his pattern from TLA). Every 7 turns, at minimum, he uses Djinn Storm. The turn before it, he uses Charon. Use Charon against him by leaving KO'd characters down, so that Djinn Storm misses them - he only has the opportunity to kill a single character after DS, so you don't even need to worry about losing the party. Keep Matt's Storm-free and continuously attack with the Sol Blade (preferably with your crit rate maxed), with Tyrell, Eoleo, and Sveta supporting with whatever weapons they have. The remaining four can be used for Wishing and Reviving as you see fit, although having attackers with Revive is very useful. Using Haze on Matt immediately before DS is also awesome. |

Djinn Storm isn't even my biggest problem; my problem has been Charon being unusually useful for Dullahan and KILLING EVERYBODY GODDAMMIT I understand leaving them down is great to avoid djinn storm, but I can't afford to have the entire party go down so much. So yeah, haven't beaten him yet. |

I just spent the last 3 hours fighting him. Lots and lots of pain... And the buzzkill that almost had me in tears... He used Crucible and summoned Coatlicue. The end of that turn he restored 9600 HP. The end of the next turn he had restored everything. So much suffering in that fight... |

he killed my entire party except Tyrell. then he whittled Tyrell down to 2 HP. And then he cast Condemn to OHKO him. Just to add insult to injury |

First time, he obliterated me. I let him actually. I was gauging for his attack pattern. Once I made a list of his attack pattern, he was putty in the second round. But oh, he was still a pain to beat. That Charon summon is horrible but once I anticipated when he was gonna use it (by having Matthew use Chasm) it was easy to avoid. Actually, Dullahan was very easy this time around because he had a pattern. A PATTERN! It's like playing duck, duck, goose!Well okay, the last one made no sense. But he has attack patterns!
