Yes, I like this game. >__> I restarted Wild World just over a week ago, and quite enjoying it, after a while not being able to stand it for a while after a massive craze a few years ago. So I was just wondering if there were any other AC fans here? Although I sadly don't have WiFi. ;_; |

I played Animal Crossing Wild World, but got tired of it. Haven't really picked it up since. It was annoying too how my favourite villagers would give me the slip and move out when I didn't notice them moving. =/ I tried to keep this one villager forever but... yeah. She left. x_x |

Loved GCN and Wild World, didn't like City Folk. The GCN version felt more lively compared to the rest (characters don't repeat the same things, way more holidays, guests came once in a blue moon and felt special and by gum junior, we LIKED IT that way!) Also, the music was awesome. <3 I hope the 3DS game makes a real attempt to differ itself from other games in the series. City Folk is way way way too similar to the previous games IMO. Apart from that, yeah I love this series~ Recently started a file on GCN...recently lost interest. My animals are all probably jabbing fingers at each other because they suspect one of them murdered me and that's why I've not shown up. (´・ω・)つ |

All the Animal Crossing games so far seem to start off with you moving into an empty house and Nook making you do chores for him. Wish they would try something new... |

I have the Gamecube version. I last played it a month ago due to unforeseen circumstances to check in on my town. |

I'll probably get the 3DS version when it comes out. I really enjoyed WW and spent many hours on it during my first playthrough. Though when I tried to start it again, each time I just got bored faster and faster, so I don't know, maybe I won't enjoy the 3DS game as much as I hope? |

Indeed, I'm hoping the 3DS one takes a new turn too. New features, more liveliness, etc. Also Reimu, it's the kind of game where you check back on what's going on for maybe an hour a day, it's slow by nature. Unless you Time Travel. lol |

Yeah, Animal Crossing is like Harvest Moon in the sense that it's meant to be a break from other games, a sort of calm and fresher feel from say playing a bunch of RPGs or platformers. I also hope the formula gets mixed up because I'm tired of working for Nook myself, cool as he is. |

I don't mind working for Nook. I mean, it only takes a half hour at maximum, and when you're done, you're done. Never gotta do it again. I tend to focus on one single character, so I don't need to worry about doing the work again. Although if you mean the loan-paying thing, I always felt that it gave an extra sense of purpose to the game. That you were working towards something as slow or quickly as you wanted all while enjoying your town. |

I was sad that I left my copy behind and couldn't show-off my town to Bryan. Animal Crossing was really fun, but I played it so intensely I couldn't dream of restarting anything, or having to do that again. Not for a few more years at least. |

True, working for Nook is short and it's a good introduction to the game. All the same, I would like to see a new way of going about it. You can't tell me doing that for the next 13 or so games repeatedly would not tire or bore you. Just to mix it up a bit. ....Wow Raven, you're dedicated. O_O |

See, it's not just RPGs or Venus I do this crazy stuff for. ![]() I should probably put all that effort into something more productive, but eh. ¯\(º_o)/¯ |

Gamecube's was best, no doubt. It had such good holidays. I played Wild World pretty intensely, loved going out at night to catch giant beetles. City Folk was pretty fun, got the urge to play it a while ago. I should make my house more awesome. It needs to be more awesome. Okay I've decided gonna make an awesome house. I love decorating, that's probably my favorite part. That was a problem with WW, because I had to share a house with my brother who make stupid looking houses. As Jackal said of his CF house, "...It's like Santa's workshop... ON DRUGS!" |

I don't think I ever saw Jackal's CF house. =< Actually, I must have done because I remember going to his town and he couldn't catch a pill bug.

For a while I thought about getting CF but there's something about AC that's kinda personal so I didn't really want my whole family walking past and being like 'lol ur werin a pink shurt' and stuff WW is the only ive played, and the holidays were way cut down and it was like bleh boring and stuff |

On the topic of CF, Let's Go To the City is the worst sub-title ever. Really, City Folk is so much better. >_> (okay so Let's Go To the City is more relevant to what actually happens but who cares) Man now I wish I had WiFi. And I wish I still had my copy of CF T_T I still have the data on my Wii, but I don't have the game anymore. I'd like to see my old town again at least once. XD |
