It's on the XBOX Live Arcade! It's sixteen bucks, but it's very fun. You make your fairy, who pops out of a crystal, you talk to the king of all fairies, who sends you on a quest. And, seeing as you're a fairy with fairy wings, you can fly. And not in normal RPG 'short bursts, limited' kind of flying. You are ALWAYS flying. And for one reason or another, so are your teammates. It's in full 3d, and the graphics aren't horrible, though they're not like 'zomg the best graphax evar, it's like bettar than FFXIII's graphiz' But they're good, imo. The official website. I discovered it in the trial version last week, and someone got me the full version last night, and I've been playing it today. You level up a bit fast, and it's never a large challenge, but if you play stupid you -will- die at some points, although in most cases so far there's a choice between doing things the nitty gritty way and a more peaceful solution. For instance, when hornets are destroying a tree, you can either charge into their hive and slaughter them, or you can smoke them out to make them move on. You can get a dragon to join you! It's pretty sweet. In addition, this one guy summons RACOONS. You're all 'omg I'm in a battle' and he's all 'RACOON!' I'm enjoying myself so far. Especially since your avatar changes as you level up, via a 'metamorphosis' gimmick. You can get horns, a tail, a glow, tracks that fall behind you as you flit around, different types of wings, antannae, tattoos. Yeah, and the different equipments all have a different look, though it seems as though there are two or three, maybe four overall 'looks' and they've got a number of recolors, but still. It's made by a company called 'Spiders' evidently. |

Sounds like fun, but sixteen bucks is just way too much for a downloadable title that I'm not already very interested in. |

it is a bit ridiculous, especially if you don't have a job. It does appear to have some replay value, as you can build your character VERY differently. For example, instead of getting Fireball -> Inferno -> something involving meteors You could get a tornado line. Also, instead of dragonfly wings that would give you bird wings. |
