So, using my R4 flash card, I mixed a walk throught walls and movement speed multiplier to traverse parts of Weyard we normally can't! Here's what I've found thus far: 1) There is an overworld icon for Mt. Aleph, as there was in TBS. 2) Isaac and Garet's place was in the dark dome when the Eclipse struck, as well as Mt. Aleph. 3) There's another house just a bit west of Isaac and Garet's place - possibly Ivan's home? 4) My favourite - traversing the continent of what I assume is Gondowan based on shape, I have found a structure that looks like it might be Venus Lighthouse. You can't enter it, but you also can't see it without hacking. I'm also happy to check anything else out you guys want me to look at. |

Can you see anything that would appear to be familar without icons to enter those areas, such as the Karagol and the Sullaha Desert? |

There IS a mass of sand that could be a desert, and it's shape is very similar to the one before Babi lighthouse (is that Suhalla? I forget...), and the Venus Lighthouse looking building is just west of the desert, too. Unfortunately I cannot see what could be the Karagol, however considering that Crossbone Isle is meant to be in the middle of it, it's probably moved when the Golden Sun occured to where Crossbone Isle is now. I've also noticed the graphics for most of this continent are actually pretty good, almost on par with the rest of the game (the water looks iffy...) I have a feeling that it may have, at one point, been a part of this game. Maybe when someone who can actually hack into the game and find missing code looks at it, we may even find some maps and events for the continent even. |

I actually knew a lot of this, since there's a Youtube video of someone who did walk through walls and walked around the map (though he had to chummyjigger a round a bit to get through the right places). Venus Lighthouse and Mercury Lighthouse have on-map sprites for the sake of continuity – though I guess they COULD have put Jupiter Lighthouse in. The problem is that, outside of Angara and the explorable sea areas, the changes referred to in the in-game textual references aren't reflected in the other continents. For example: Atteka is still separate from Gondowan. We know from the Encyclopedia the two continents have combined, and Jupiter Lighthouse is now in the Atteka Region of Western Gondowan. The same problem occurs with Indra – according to the Encyclopedia, Indra should be far east of Gondowan, but the map shows it pretty much in the same spot as it was in TLA. This was a problem in the original Golden Sun game as well – continents weren't where they were supposed to be, nor the right shape. My answer to this is that, because we're not supposed to explore them, it doesn't matter what they look like or where they are in relationship to Angara and the Great Eastern Sea and other explorable areas. No doubt, Gondowan, Atteka, Hesperia, Indra, and Osenia will look quite different in GS4. Separation of story and gameplay mechanics, when the mechanics require cheating to see. At the very least, this resolves any disappointments that the other continents were wholly unchanged – this is obviously not true due to text. Then again, I've never seen the crack on the other side of Mt. Aleph in TLA… |

Kuroi, can you take a picture/post of a video of that house? I'm very curious. And yeah, that structure you saw is Venus Lighthouse. |

I'd like to see that house as well. That's the only thing of actually interest here for me. |

DAMMIT GWEE, I THOUGHT I WAS FINALLY DOING SOMETHING OF HELPFULNESS (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡 Nah, just kidding. I'll grab a picture of the house for you guys in a second. EDIT: Okay, here it is. As I said, it is located west of Isaac's house, however you cannot enter it: http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/5053/imag0004j.jpg Sorry about the poor quality of the shot too, my camera didn't like taking a picture that was on my DS. |

Isn't that technically where Isaac's house is supposed to be? I mean, the In-game map says the house is right there on the Plateau there. With the long bridge connecting that plateau to the smaller one to the east. |

Interesting. I wonder what they had planned for that? Even though it's hardly visible in the pic. XD |

Possibly Gwee, but they still didn't have a logical reason to put it there. I mean, I don't see an overworld sprite for the Tanglewood, do you? |

No, but there's no overworld sprite for the main body of a lot of dungeons. Since you start in an area, you don't get a Tanglewood sprite. On the otherhand, Mt. Aleph got a sprite, despite reaching it from Vale and thus not being able to enter it from the map. This building has the big telescope and it's on the location where Isaac's house should be. It must be Isaac's house. |
