Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Thanks Poui.

I believe a sequel with 16 characters(a full new eight, plus everyone else returning) was intended. I believe this because there are several parallels to Broken Seal that Dark Dawn has

-Despite having twice as many characters, your overall inventory space is actually still the same, since everyone's inventory is halved. (not confirmed, but I have a topic about that already... though that one CAN be deleted, as I hadn't intended to make this one when I made that one, and members can't delete topics, even their own)

-You start out in the Vale area, do a short tutorial dungeon, and due to your own bumbling idiocy initiated by a resident Martian(Jenna in the first game, Tyrell this time) you have to go out to get something because Good Job Breaking It Hero ( :awe: )

-You don't explore the full world. In Broken Seal, you only explored Angara, but in Lost Age you went EVERYWHERE. I think they went for the same percentage, which means the world got a -lot- bigger since the Golden Sun event.

-The fact that Dullahan and the like appear actually makes me believe they're going to have a sequel. In this world now flushed full with its own lifeblood in the form of Alchemy, the bosses that the heroes who -had- to be weaker adepts beat wouldn't be the toughest the extended world had to offer. Also, there might be a LOT more optional bosses come the next game. Broken Seal only had Deadbeard after all. Although this is incredibly weak, yeah?

-The unfinished plot. Broken Seal ended HALFWAY THROUGH THE ORIGINAL GAMES' PLOT. It ends atop Venus Lighthouse, at a point where all we knew was 'well gee, we should stop the baddies from lighting the lighthouses' JUST YOU WATCH. ENDING THE ECLIPSE WILL END UP HAVING BEEN A BAD THING. I still say Belinsk was creepy as all hell.

-Nothing is answered. Where was Alex when you climbed Venus Lighthouse? Why wasn't he there to assist Saturos and Menardi? Where are Jenna and Kraden? Well, we know this. Alex is helping Jenna and Kraden escape, because the general plan was to ride off to the sea with the boat on Idejima, and Alex had to repel Tolbian soldiers. But did we know this before Lost Age came out? Um, no. No we did not.

Yeah, I'll agree Dark Dawn felt like a mirror of GS1, for all the reasons you stated. If we don't get a sequel, I will be pissed.

Wheey! I've became a human being!! I am very handsam!

What idiocy did Jenna cause? Getting kidnapped almost completely beyond her control?

Thanks Poui.

Well, I should probably have said Garet, since he decided to give the gems to Saturos and Menardi.

To Garet's credit, they really had no choice. Jenna and Kraden were hostages, Felix couldn't do anything, and Isaac and Garet stood absolutely no chance against Saturos, Menardi, *and* Alex at that time.

But stop getting me even more excited for a sequel that may or may not happen ;________;

Yeah, I'd say complying was smarter than letting their friends or themselves get hurt. Plus we know in hindsight that it wasn't such a bad idea to give them the stars anyway.
