Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

I can understand why Jarn doesn't want to talk about Gen V. Since I'm pretty sure none of you are playing a Black or White version right now (though, with imports, I could be wrong), let's talk about 4th Gen teams, instead.

I'm currently training a Lapras to compete in Doubles Battle Hall with Jarn. I wonder how it'll go.

I've found the Battle Castle fun, especially on doubles. It took me a long while to beat the Battle Butler, however.

Also, I'm sorry Jarn; I lol'd at the fraction quote.

...Also how do Steel types wall off that big dragon? Just teach it Earthquake.
Good point, but I was kinda talking about some other steel types that aren't hit that hard by EQ, such as Skarm or that new grass/steel type.

... Thank you for completely ignoring me, btw. I specified multiple times both my reasoning, and that I wasn't crying ruined forever. But hey, if you all want to be rude, that's fine.
ITT: Jarnakel decides to be a dick, calls us rude when we tell him to knock it off.

Nothing to siege here, move along.

ITT: Jarn nicely asks for Gen 5 to be left out of Gen 4 strategy talk until it has actually been released, gives reasoning, says he'll deal with it if it happens anyway, and hopes to leave it at that, people cry that he's being a brat and acting like the games are ruined forever for him.

So have any of you guys tried a Bronzong or Swampert lead? They're pretty beast, in my experience.

I don't do competitive (although I do have some competitive tendencies, I'm just not into the whole competitive scene), but I can agree that Swampert is beast.

Too bad I was too lazy to make a good ingame Swampert. Only used him on Sims, sadly. I do have a pretty sweet Bronzong that I bred and raised myself though.

oh you

I'm usually terrible at manipulating RNGs, I always get a step wrong.

Unless it's really simple like the one in GS1 and 2

Emerald's RNG needs a bit of luck because you need to hit an exact time unless you're going to catch a Method 2 poke (Read: Random wild encounters) and you use a Synchronizer.

i'm not sure about the Gen4 games, but i bet HG/SS' RNG is easier to manipulate when breeding due to the Power items increasing the chance of passing down a certain IV.

Yeah, I have trouble manipulating IVs. >_<

This reminds me of the time I bred a 31 IV Attack and Speed Weavile, only to find out he now sucked like literally 2 or 3 days later. >_>

At least you can use it to breed other stuff if it's male.

BUMP FOR GREAT JUSTICE

Gen 5's coming up and a whole new field of battle awaits! Countless very powerful Pokemon in Gen 5.
