I'm currently working on a team specifically to combat Palmer. Kingdra, Magnezone, and possibly one other. I'll probably stick with my beloved Aerodactyl. Kingdra: Dragon Pulse, Surf, Ice Beam, [insert one more move here] Magnezone: Thunderbolt, Mirror Shot, Thunder Wave, Magnet Rise Aerodactyl: Earthquake, Thunder Fang, Rock Slide, Aerial Ace |

Is Palmer really that hard? Anyways, Mirror Shot is pretty bad, since it is pretty weak, inaccurate and Steel is bad as an attacking type. Either go with Hidden Power (If you get lucky with type and get Fire/Ice/something good) or Flash Cannon (Stronger and more accurate than Mirror Shot :P). |

Palmer was easy the first time. I'm trying to figure out how to beat his second team still. The only Frontier Brain I haven't beaten is the Factory Guy (I always forget his name, because he's new and replaced old factory guy). |

OH GOD FACTORY HEAD THORNTON It took me four attempts to beat him. The difference in power between the first 6 battles and the Brain is insanely unfair. I finally did beat him though, and it was GLORIOUS. |

Yeah, that's him. Thorton. I HATE the Battle Factory, because I can't prepare for it, and I learn less and less about my opponents over the course of the streak. By the time he comes up, I have the complete wrong set for him. |

I actually like the Battle Factory, but I'm not deluding myself into thinking that I can manage to beat Thorton twice. I do have all the silver prints except one though. That one where you can only use one Pokemon and have to pick the type you fight. Got to the Brain with my Electivire, then I lost because she had a Houndoom, and we both two shotted each other...but it was faster ![]() First round Palmer isn't that hard if you take advantage of Dragonite and Rhyperior's double weaknesses I beat his first team twice with these set ups: Typholsion: Flamethrower, Thunderpunch, Earthquake, Solarbeam; Item: Power Herb Electivire: Low Kick, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch; Item: Focus Sash Hippowdon: Ice Fang, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Crunch; Item: Leftovers My second set up was: Sceptile: Leaf Blade, Swords Dance, Rock Slide, (insert fourth move here that I'll teach later; currently Frenzy Plant); Item: King's Rock Magmortar: Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Sunny Day, Solar Beam; Item: Power Herb Electivire: See above ...Of course, if you're trying to beat Palmer's second team, then I can't help you Lemu :U |

No Slack Off? You could replace Crunch, since it is pretty redundant with Stone Edge + Earthquake unless you really hate Psychics. |

Ah, I LOVE the Battle Stage. It's getting a streak of 170 that is the hard part. |

Yeah. Gwydd and I have been owning the Battle tower for BP spam. You get 8 BP for the first two runs, IIRC. Then it goes up to 9. We crashed and burned on the 5th run, though, on the last battle, so idk if it goes any higher. |

Was too lazy to catch a Slakoth to breed it on. I kinda do have that on for Psychic types, but out of curiosity, what would you have instead? |

I smashed the Castle with Bronzong lead. Stealth Rock is win even against 3-Pokemon teams. And when Hypnosis hit... aww yeah. I believe my other 'Mons were Weavile (before I knew he was redundant) and... uh, Azelf I think. Love that little guy. Next Frontier MUST HAVE DOME AND PYRAMID back. So much fun! |

Theme naming for the win. My Gardevoir? ![]() My Gallade? ![]() When I'm playing competitively with a Scyther? ![]() Yes, I name my competitively raised mons after Megaman characters. And yes, I make sure that Pandora and Prometheus are ACTUALLY brother and sister - sharing a mom and dad. I have yet to actually use Aeolus competitively, but that's probably because I burned out on pokemon just getting Pandora and Prometheus hatched... |

When I use Psycho Cut, I call it Psychic Scythe. I imagine that Prometheus leaps into the air, his irises glow red, the psychic blade extends from the end of his 'blade arms', resembling a scythe. He swings. Critical hit. It was super effective. Foe's ass was sliced in two. |
