Fulminous Edge isn't as lulzy :V While on the topic of bad translations i don't really get how they got "Formina Sage". The "Formina" part is not that hard to know where they got it, but "Sage", really? |

Given what little I kknow about transliteration from and to Japanese, I'm going to make a guess: Fulminous Edge -> fo ma na su e I ji -> Formina Sage Pretend I used the katakana in the middle thing there. Each seperate thingy is a kana, and since Japanese doesn't tend to bother with such silly things as spaces between words, the last kana of the first word got shifted to the first kana of the second. I assume someone with a greater level in Weeaboo will be along to explain it better, though. |

Yeah, Fulminous Edge and Formina Sage sound quite similar, especially the way it's pronounced in Japanese. Which makes me think they translated it as Formina Sage to troll people... I'M FORMIN' A SAGE GAIZ!!!!! *hits you with a giant lightning blade* |

I thought Formina Sage sounded pretty cool, even if it didn't really mean anything... |

Yeah, Formina Sage sounds more like a badass Latin incantation, while Fulminous is derived from... *goes to check* 2. of, involving, or resembling thunder and lightning Which is actually a pretty sweet word to refer to that. But basically, fancy way of saying "THUNDER SWORD" |
