Who else thought MML2 was kinda meh? I mean, it was a good game, but I liked the first one a lot more. Legends 2 just felt...empty. The sense of exploration the first one had was completely non-existant, and you hopped between islands far too often. Also, the ruins really weren't that different from each other. Some of the islands sucked, like the one where you have to help those two kids save the town or whatever. The atmosphere was great, I'll give it that, and the rest of the islands were really cool (loved the snow one, and Nino Island). It also had better voice acting, a better plot, and Elysium was pretty awesome. Much better than the first Legend's final dungeon. I also like how expansive the Flutter is; in MML1, there was hardly anything to explore. You can even buy stuff to add to it in Legends 2, which was also neat. That being said though, I think it was a weaker game by far. Who else feels this way? |

lolno, I preferred when MegaMan was actually voiced by a guy. Personally, I felt that Legends 2 gave you more freedom instead of being just stuck on one island. It was a bit more expansive that way, you know, seeing the world and all. Plus, the dungeons actually had much better music this time. Don't get me wrong, the music in Legends 1 fit (especially the creepy Clozer Woods ruins), but you could barely hear it. And the dungeons were certainly more different in Legends 2 than in Legends 1. Saul Kada ruins had lava and whatnot, Calinka's dungeon was all icy, etc. Whereas all of Legends 1's dungeons were metallic :U Elysium does blow all the other dungeons out of the water though. It's amazing like woah. Best final level ever. Also, the best boss battle of all is the battle against Geetz. You know it to be true. |
