There's essentially no limit on item usage, unlike every other ability in the game. In GS it's not so bad, but In games like Pokemon you gain a massively unfair advantage by spamming revives. |

Good thing items in Pokemon games aren't useable in a linked battle. >_> |

No limit? You can only use as many items as you have in your inventory, just like you can only use as many healing psynergies as you have PP for. Heck, I'd say PP is more renewable than items, even. |

Not that I'm making a counter point here, but you can carry 99 of the same healing item on one person. And given the Water of Life that Tua Soldiers drops like hot cakes, it's really easy to stack them up. |

You can use as many healing psynergies as you have pp for AND meet the class requirements to have. Eh, like I said Golden Sun isn't the game I dislike using items in the most, but it's not exempt from my disdain. |

HELL YEAH Just beat Dully with these levels: Amiti Lv45 Eoleo Lv44 Matthew Lv44 Himi Lv45 Sveta Lv39 Rief Lv38 Tyrell Lv40 Karis Lv40 \o\ /o/ \o/ The trick is to study his move pattern and use Chasm to prevent taking huge damage and Doldrum to stop Djinn Storm ![]() |

Dullahan... I'm surprised, reading this topic. It seems that everyone is still having as much/more trouble than they did in TLA. In TLA, I fought Dully numerous times and constantly lost. In DD... First fight, 10 minutes in, I have to go somewhere, so I all out attack him and die. Second time, I decide to summon rush. With only one character left, I manage to beat him. I find this amusing in my own personal way... |

Right, so, I just finished my "Kill as many balls as you can until you get bored" Star Magician fight. My reward? 1,897,856 Experience. Yes, I am serious. Level jumps were: Amiti Lv45 -> 61 Himi Lv45 -> 60 Eoleo Lv45 -> 60 Matthew Lv 45 -> 61 Sveta Lv39 -> 51 Karis Lv41 -> 52 Tyrell Lv41 -> 51 Rief Lv39 -> 51 |

Kicked Star Maggy's ass just now with no problem. I have a feeling I'm gonna wind up replacing Eoleo with Karis for the rest as a full-time fixture so I actually have a damn healer. Those ghoul balls were irritating though <_< On my way to dem dere Ogres. |

Beat Ogre titans with no trouble. At the end of #5 I just started spamming djinn out of boredom and summoned Thor and Tiamat. 2 of my only 4 summoning instances throughout my entire damn playthrough /o/ Turned it off for a while, 2 bonus bosses is enough for 1 sitting. |

Uhh... and hour and a half I think. (with a few breaks. Thank you, sleep mode!) The level up jingle went on and on and on. It was funny. XD Of course, before I got bored, I let Refresh Balls stick around to get Star Magician's HP back up to max, since he did take quite a bit of damage from excess attacking and multi-target unleashes. |

So I broke down and finally beat Dullahan via summon rush. I ground up to level 60 with both parties, then when I got to Dullahan I guess I forgot I was going to try to use some strategy and just threw all my crap at him. First party got decimated before they could pull everything off, second party barely survived. I feel dirty. Started a new playthrough; going to do it properly this time.
