You must sail east of the purple clouds, you will see a rock formation that looks like a hand get right up close to it and sail west. If you did this correctley you will be in the pirate ship. Edited by LightGreen, Dec 12 2010, 11:25 PM.

I just came back with three of the four under my belt now. The Titans actually gave me the most trouble just because it took so loooong... Ancient Devil, despite possessing beastform Sveta which is about as strong as he could get, was a joke. Most because I just mowed him down, and due to recently getting Pure Wish and switching from base classes to combo classes, I was reveling in power like I had never known before. Pretty sure nobody died, not once. Star Magician I ran into completely accidentally - and yeah, I was disappointed to see her/his hips had been shaved down a little bit (also, I totally take credit for being the one to propagate the female Star Magician theory :awe:), although I'd have to double check about the potential chest. Anyway, this fight was pathetically easy, even easier than the old Star Magician. I had double Death Balls for about the entire battle and they only OHKO'd once, and that was Eoleo who was promptly revived. A had a thunder ball in there, too. One the SM side, one Refresh ball actually got a heal off; I was surprised at how resilient the Guard Balls were, and the Ghoul balls had inhuman amounts of health - luckily, the one time I was surprised by that and it had a turn, it just did a physical attack. Star Magician herself was rather disappointing, too - I only was hit by a third-tier psynergy once. Back in TLA, getting hit by four thunder ball psynergies every turn on top of third tier psynergies was far more dangerous than this joke. >_> Also, Pure Wish every three turns or so may have helped. >_> Now. Dullahan's next. I ended up trying him first for the lulz with summon rushing, but a Charon took down most of the entire second party, and I was about ten levels lower then. It should be different this time - I think I might not summon rush on him (since I didn't summon rush on any of the other bosses and that went swell). |

![]() But yeah I did. I kept killing them as more were summoned, partly so I'd get crazy Exp for the fun of it =P Also multi-target unleashes killed a few extra ones off. |

...And after nearly an hour of struggling, Dullahan finally wipes me out. Looks like I need to prepare a bit more. Damn that first turn Djinn Storm!

38?!?!?!?!?!? O_O Yowza, you must be damn good if you beat the final boss and other optional bosses at that low a level! Of course, I trust you don't summon rush. ಠ_ಠ |

I did summon rush for the other save file I did, but this one I decided to kill them with none of that. It was long, but spamming the Sol blade, using Rief as the main healer, and Svetas beastform brought them down pretty quick. |

Heh, attempted to fight good old Dally at 49/50 for my main team. I quickly deduced that it was a loosing fight for me there. Still have to go beat down Star Mage, but given that my team is 50+ now, I don't see any real trouble with him. |

This happened to me too, but Himi and Karis were dead. Sveta literally gained four levels, no joke. |

^Niiiiice. I actually tended to prioritise killing off the balls. So much so that there were very rarely 4 of them on the field at once, haha. Next playthrough I am totally gonna kill tons of them on purpose to get huge Exp just for lulz |

I killed off everything that wasn't a Death or Thunder ball, he just happened to not summon that many balls - and also, I had three death/thunder balls going for a while, so. xP |

I pretty much just killed everything that wasn't a Thunder Ball. And all the Thunder Balls he summoned died anyway thanks to "well timed" multi-target unleashes. XD |

SM was easy as usual (I don't know why people find him hard), but GOOD GOD, that XP gain was ridiculous. AD was a really good idea for a bonus boss. I liked his gimmick too. Thank Kraden that I had no potions on Karis and that he didn't grab Master Matt the Sol Ninja... I'd have been screwed then. Now if only it was difficult... OT I hated. REALLY hated. They have nothing but physical strikes? REALLY? Have Godspeed Ronin Tyrell keep the defense up, have Rief play healer, have Karis keep everyone impacted, and wail away with Master Matt the Sol Ninja. This boss was a joke. Dully... [radio edit] YOU. First turn djinn storm? REALLY? On my third try, I was about level 71 because the RNG hates my guts. I said "Screw it, I've lost my bragging rights bonus now, you guys are sacrificial lambs now" and pretty much stopped trying to get good equipment for Himi, Sveta, Amiti and Eoleo and just unset all their djinn. A few tosses of Daedalus and a couple Boreases later and they're slain, leaving it up for my main team. About ten turns later (and luckily without Djinn Storm incident) he went down. Is it just me, or does he have MORE health than before? |

Ahh, Dully. I tried slugging it out against him at level 50 and found that Fulminous was just OHKing post-storm'd... everyone, so I ground up to level 70 off Tua warriors (getting like 10 WoL for each character in the process) and went back for another round. Assuming he was indeed programmed not to spam Djinn Storm constantly (I did find his first action after killing the frontline party was ALWAYS a djinn storm, so I think the devs anticipated summon rushing, I dunno) my strat was basically to slug it out with my party of base classes, spamming flora, thor, cybele and other low level summons via two jupiter djinn users on the frontline as much as possible. Crucible seldom took my build up summons. Basically tank Dully's offense and wear him down with summons (flora hits him for like 1100 o_o). I was GOING to try a lull strat I thought up but it turns out you can't kite to unseat lull. Even if you use summoning + aurora you will still only get lull every other turn. (which is basically 'you get 3 turns advantage on dully') which is nothing to sneeze at... until he charons or storms down the guy using Lull (I couldn't set up classes so someone with Jupiter djinn went last, so I just stuck Lull onto Eoleo) anyways that failed when he proceeded to demolish me. (Was level 48 I think). |

Know what? I fought Dully for about an hour and he didn't use Crucible. ONCE. |

Did you have any stuff to summon? And yeah, man... so I just tried at level 55 or so to beat Dully, both with and without summon rushing. Failed both times - without summon rushing, as Chrono said Fulminous Edge took down anyone post Storm, and I believe I was Djinn Stormed three separate times. >_> Also, Charon is a [radio edit] to be hit with, and he liked to pair Djinn Storm and Charon together. On the summon rushing try, luckily I had five Zol Rings to boost my Agility enough to do all my summoning before he got a chance to attack - however, as I was waiting on two Daedalus missiles, the very last bit of all the summons, he took down my party with a Charon. ;_; I think I'm going to go level up for a while. But yeah, between increased health, Crucible, and Djinn Storm savvy, I think Dullahan was definitely built with anti-summon rushing in mind. (I did get Eclipse summoned against me once, but I survived it with everyone) That's right. They made Dullahan even harder. |

I can't recall all that many details from my bonus boss fights but I did beat them all on my first try. Except for Dullahan. Still working on him, the [radio edit]. I ended up taking on the Ogre Titans first, after blazing through the final boss with a level 41 party. I've never been one for strategy; I usually stick to base classes unless I'm dicking around for fun and just try to be smart with my Djinn and Psynery. The Ogre Titans were just a massive joke though. I honestly didn't realize it was a bonus boss fight until around when the third showed up. After that I just kind of slogged through the battle, healing as needed. I actually had to revive a few times because I was so unconcerned about losing that I didn't really care if a party member got offed now and then. I beat them easy, it just took a while to whittle down 4 and 5. And then I find out they're guarding Deadalus. I know Valukar was pretty much the easiest bonus boss from TLA but even he would have been better than this. The Ogre Titans are just his retarded manchild offspring. I confess to having my mind blown when I saw the Star Magician. I don't know if I was expecting any of the old bonus bosses to return but I guess I wasn't expecting that. It was an odd mix of "yessssssss" and "STAR MAGICIAN FFFFFFFFFFF" So I was surprised when it felt easier to beat than TLA's version. Maybe I'm just smarter about my battles now. It was a bit of a struggle admittedly, but it didn't have me raging like before. I pretty much just went after the Guardian Balls first and Refresh Balls second. Ghoul Balls too when I realized that they EAT your frigging Djinn. I pretty much just hammered those three with Djinn and Psynergy then continued as normal, peppering the Star Magician and the rest of the balls with mid-tier summons every few turns. It kept them off balance nicely and I was rewarded with every character leveling up twice. For the Ancient Devil I think I had more trouble than most people. I don't know if I was unprepared or if the maze had me raging so hard I wasn't thinking right (I refused to use a map to get through it) but his gimmick took me completely by surprise. I forget who all he possessed. I think it was Rief, then Amiti, then Sveta. Which wasn't that bad except I think Sveta summoned Eclipse on me and it was not that funny to see the Ancient Devil soaking up more Pure Plys than the frigging Star Magician. Other than that and raging when I realized that when you beat possessed party members, they actually go down, it wasn't that bad. I was off balance for the entire fight but came out on top somehow. I ended up with only half of my second party surviving and I was going to start buffing and reviving like mad, but then the Ancient Devil up and died so yay. Dullahan. [radio edit] Dullahan. [radio edit]ing DULLAHAN. I thought it was impossible for him to get any more difficult and then they gave him [radio edit]ing Crucible. Guess what the first thing he summoned was when he threw that in my face. [radio edit]ing Coatlicue. I didn't stand a chance. So I went and ground Tua Warriors into meat paste and ate about 15 levels worth of that delicious meat paste until I had a level 55 party and went back. And things were going okay until he used Djinn Storm on my first party and followed it up with a Charon that OHKO'D THREE OF MY PARTY MEMBERS. After that he just pretty much spammed Dark Contact. And Element Swap just to make fun of me. And he killed the next five party members by eating up their HP and then finishing them off with Fulminous Edge when anything else would have worked. Every. Single. One. I swear Dullahan is programmed to be a dick. Time for more grinding.
