Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Wheey! I've became a human being!! I am very handsam!

Those of you who have played Civilization 4 will be very familiar with this song, and those of you who have good tastes in video game music should also know this song well because it's one of the best out there.

Well, even though the game and therefore the song have existed for 5 years, the composer, Christopher Tin, just released the song on his debut album this year. The people who nominate for the Grammys caught wind of the track and it's been nominated for Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalists. This is the first time a song from a video game has been nominated for a Grammy.

So yeah, lolGrammys because they've been pretty dumb for several years, but this is still pretty sweet.

Okay, I never really played Civ, but I really liked this song. lolgrammies indeed, but it does, at least, deserve a nomination. Woo video game music getting recognized. Regardless of the essential merit of the recognition.

Sadly, the first thing I think of when I hear the song is Brent Floss's parody XD

Still, I'm glad to see a video-game track at the grammies :3

Brent's parody is pretty good too, one of his best works I think.

*major Brentalfan, owns signed copy of the CD and may get to see him in March*

I think it's the best song for showing off his range of voice. :nodnod: *only really checked out the Youtube account, but <3s the Civ and Toad songs the most*

DuckTales I think is his best song of all, especially the CD version. The 2-2 Blues is also great, and I do like The Truth About Toad.

Adachi is not amused.

Being a huge Civ 4 fan, I think this is pretty cool. I've always really enjoyed having the song in the background.

the grammys are a joke, tbh. the fact that recovery got an album of the year nod, and How I Got Over by the Roots didn't is proof enough of that. Just look at last year's song of the year nominee's.. I Got A Feeling (BEP), Halo (Beyonce), Poker Face (Gaga), Use Somebody (Kings OF Leon), and You Belong With Me (Taylor Swift). Now, I like Poker Face, and Use Somebody is a guilty pleasure of mine, but none of those songs are anywhere near deserving of being called the best song released last year. It's a shame that the Grammys have been reduced to nothing but a celebration of mainstream acts, but it's been like that for years. Backstreet Boys were up for album of the year in 2000....

The song is really amazing.

Definitively more deserving of a prize than the endless streams of shit people listen to.
