Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Pixar is the shit, while Dreamworks is shit.

I really would love to see a Monsters Inc 2. That ending tormented me as a child but it's probably best left as it was.

Mod banning an admin? Aww shit

And Dreamworks isn't that bad. They made Shrek and Road to El Dorado, they were excellent movies.

But Pixar is still better.

I've never been very taken with the Computer Animated movies. Like, from Antz and A Bug's Life on to Nemo and Toy Story 3, the only one that's clicked has been Wall-E. Because Wall-E is the cutest thing ever.

I like it when computer animations are integrated into movies, like your usual Live-Action flick ala Inception, or the way computers were used in old-school disney flicks like Aladdin and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. But unless the animators actually attempt to make realistic modles, it always feels disappointing. Like, say the robots in Wall-E are detailed and textured so well, but then the humans come in with almost no skin texture and zero proportion <_<

Amendment: The Toy Story series has always been better about clunky humans than other films.

You're aware of the uncanny valley, yes? The primary reason why 3D-animated movies avoid attempting to make realistic models is to avoid the characters falling into it and making it significantly less enjoyable to watch. To create a 3D model that is so realistic that it feels like a real person is absurdly difficult. Pixar knows this, so they don't do it.

So honestly it's less them "attempting" as it is being cautious.

I enjoy most Pixar movies, but for whatever reason, while I respect the talent of their works, I don't have any true favorites from among their films. Looking forward to Brave, though.

I loved Wall-E and Up. Especially Up. This song still makes me cry. Out of the shorts... I don't know. One Man Band perhaps? 8D

Pixar history's fun to look through as well...

This sums up my thoughts exactly. Draco you just pulled this from my mind but made it sound a lot better than I would have worded it.

I've always wanted to see a full length movie with final fantasy style animation.

That... MOVIE is the main reason why Squaresoft became Square-Enix and most of the great ones left the company. Grrr. :argh:

But Pixar movie I loved watching? Toy Story 2. Sorry, I watched the sequel first somehow. And I love it.

The only Pixar movie I have not seen is... Cars.
