Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Own a cafe, hands down. I actually promised a Golden Sun fanfic writer friend of mine that I'd own one some day, so it's kinda like my life goal right now.

But seriously though Mythbusters yesss.

My dream job would be to write, mruuw. Either that, or a singer-songwriter. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm talented enough for either. I can't really see myself doing other things, though. Music and writing are my two greatest interests in life, mruuw.
Talented enough, as in, going down in history as one of the highest regarded people in your fields? =P
My experience has been if that you're really passionate about what you're doing, you'll be fine. I've garnered several new interests in only the past two or odd years, and I can be a total zealot about them if I want to. x3 More so than some of the things I was into since my mid-teens.

No, talented enough, as in, not getting a stable income.

I have........ no idea. No matter how much I think about it. I think I'd love to have a job that had something to do with cleaning, singing, animals, or maybe even major in psychology or Japanese Culture. Those are at least the things I'm interested in, but really I have no idea. (´・ω・)つ

Anime was a mistake

You could be a psychologist who moonlights as a Japanese maid that sings to animals?

Character Designer. For video games preferably (Especially since "character designer" in video games tends to be synonymous with "creative director", and that tends to be a steady $60,000~ job), but I'd deal with costume designing for movies or if I got lucky, for animation. UNLIKELY considering that my art style would not fit with animation.
I'm actually actively working to this as a goal.

A side-job will help if that's the issue. In my case, being a writer works well with professorship.

>_> If it makes younger Kradenettes feel better, I didn't know what I was going to do until I was 18-19. My current goals did not exist until I was 20, a year ago.

I don't have a clue what I want to do with my life. I'm 17, I have no job, I dropped out of school, an I have no idea what to do with my life, or even what I CAN do with my life at this stage.

See this is why you stay in school, kids

I still don't know what I'm going to do, but I have enough varied credits underneath my belt that once I figure it out, I won't be starting from scratch.

...Hopefully I'll figure out soon, though :nyoron:

Re: Writing be lazy

AHAHAHAHHAH
no. >_>

I said, 'A line will take us hours maybe;
Yet if it does not seem a moment's thought,
Our stitching and unstitching has been naught.
Better go down upon your marrow-bones
And scrub a kitchen pavement, or break stones
Like an old pauper, in all kinds of weather;
For to articulate sweet sounds together
Is to work harder than all these, and yet
Be thought an idler by the noisy set
Of bankers, schoolmasters, and clergymen
The martyrs call the world.'

On topic, my dream job is going to be job. English professor primarily, possibly working as an editor in a publishing house, doing research and keeping up in my field with new works and new articles, writing essays and blowing open the critical field on video games, and doing poetry and writing on the side.
Listen to Val, Sundancer. He knows how it is.
Also, my current GPA is 4.1 in English classes, 3.9 overall. I have every confidence that I will be able to attain my goals.
