This right here is good storytelling. All the comments have gone from calling for Tony's head to just confusion. If this wasn't well studied already, psychologists could definately use this to track how popular opinion of someone changes they more they get him into their monkeysphere |

Yeah, seeing the reactions in the comments is a really interesting thing. Since people just get so invested in it, they just give their unqualified reactions to what's going on. |

I'm so flabbergasted at all of this straightforward storytelling. Who is this webcomic authored by, and what did they do to Tom? |

Idk, I think part of the draw to balanced storytelling is a time to be mysterious, and a time to just throw the cards on the table. Especially for what's ultimately a popular, mass audience now, crowdfunded. I think this is Tom laying things out for people in a way that brings closure and is easy to understand. Not necessarily ideal, but it's not bad either. I'm certainly enjoying the wild ride here, and Anthony has a pretty interesting narrative voice. |

Anthony is extremely direct and rational, of course he's going to lay out all the evidence, present his opinion on it, and let his friend judge the facts for himself. Up to now the viewpoint character has mainly been an emotionally... complicated teenage girl (more complicated than usual) with all kinds of romanticism who just doesn't care about a lot of the meta level stuff going on in gunnerkrigg unless it relates to her own personal affairs. Tony is a lot more mature in many ways and knows a lot more and the story reflects what a self aware adult would do and say, even if he's if anything as flawed or more than Antimony. |

http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=1559 I like that the outline of Annie in the secondpanel is Surmia's (is that how you spell her name?). Really reinforces what Tony's saying. |

Surma. Her name is Surma. On a more recent note, I just want everyone to take a moment to appreciate how Coyote's character has been summarized in one image now. Things are happening! |

I really like this chapter so far, the art is cool and it has an archetypal feeling to it for sure. Things are definitely happening. I wonder if this is winding up for an end game of some sort? Haven't heard much of Jeanne in a long while, though. I am impressed Coyote fit four mouths on one body like that. |

I was thinking endgame myself, actually. Especially if Annie's horcrux gets discovered. My new pet theory is that if conventional human Annie gets knocked up, she won't die after giving birth... since she appears to have separated herself from the Fire Elemental within...? |

http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=1577 Ysengrim siding with Annie's dad on these issues is hilarious. It's like he's turning on the Dad without even knowing it. |
