So I decided to go through GS 1 again, and I'm gonna post some stuff I haven't noticed the first couple times/interesting accounts.

First, named my party in order of appearance Ender, Ars'n, Canus, and Minra. Picked Ars'n for Garet because it's a play on arson, which is the legal term for burning something like a building illegally. The rest is made up jumbo that sounds nice :awe:

Second, in Vault, in the mayor's house pre-thief battle, after you get Ivan, if you mind read one of the kids, it says that Ivan's power let him talk to animals. I did not know that the game let you in on this; I had always assumed you were just supposed to know. Also, the mayor right next to the kids goes "Ah, that tickles! It always feels nice to be tickled!" Or something similar to that extent when I mind-read him, which is bizarre because A) he just lost his [radio edit]ing urn, why isn't he sad, B) tickling, seriously? what a pedo/creeper.

Third, I realized that you have just enough time between random encounters to recover two djinn on one person from a summon. Which means that after you get Granite in Kolima, you can proceed to rape Kolima forest by just spamming Ramses. Worked really well for Mercury Lighthouse too, although I bet that the forest immediately south of Kolima is the last place where it will work before enemies just become to tough to kill. I don't know though, and I'll certainly try.

I also felt bad about throwing some poor kid's snowman down into the gully so I could get a Mars Djinn, but I got over it. :awe:

Jumping back to Biliblin, I finally bothered to do the cutscene with McCoy for the first time, and he has a Welsh Scottish accent. It was odd to see that, considering his ho of a waifu spoke perfect eng-[radio edit]. He also got the damn key out and put it on the desk and then took it back because he didn't want us badasses to have all the fun. I though about just using catch to take it, but it was a cutscene, and Isaac can't mindread me, so eh.

Also, why didn't Nora go to where Felix was drowning in Vale 3 years past and Catch him? It's only 1 [radio edit]in psynergy point to do it; sheesh woman, this is all your fault.

Saturos and Menardi talk about the party that was with them, and their recent demise when Isaac initially eavesdrops on them. I wonder what those Mars adepts were like? Possibly they were kidnapped children too? hehehehe

Also Flint is a DOUCHE. I told him to get lost like 8 times and he STILL JOINED ME LIKE I WANTED HIM. So I did what any respectable guardian would do and gave him away to Garet. Which, to my surprise, actually gave Garet like +12 Attack, which is crazy coming out of Vale. He whooped ass for about 30 minutes, then by the time I got the Elven Rapier I had forgotten about it. :luna:

That's what's caught my eye so far.

That's a Scottish accent man. I live in Wales and that's no Welsh accent. :)

Wheey! I've became a human being!! I am very handsam!

Definitely Scottish 1)since he's modeled after MacBeth, who was a Scottish character, and 2)I've heard enough Scottish people speak to know what it is.

Even if you didn't know he was modeled after MacBeth, the Mc part of his name – McCoy – should be a dead give away that he's not Welsh. Welsh equivalent is "mab," "fab," or "ap", and it's not used in surnames anymore to the best of my knowledge.

When I was playing GS with the kid I babysit and we got to McCoy's palace and oh god do you even know how hard it was to do a convincing Scottish middle-age man accent on the fly?

[radio edit]ing McCoy and his ho waifu.

I've always wondered about this a bit myself. It makes no sense.

...Unless...

...Oh my god...

Felix didn't fall into that river... he was pushed!

Oh, Nora! What have you done?!

Dora, by the way. Dora. Not Nora.

And the reason, I would put, is that Catch can't grab heavy objects. It's roughly equivalent to a similar Psynergy in DD, and they outright say that that one can't bring heavy things to you. I would assume Catch acts the same.
