Of course, the game may likely not actually be available for purchase until the next day, as often these release dates are the day the game will arrive at the store, not necessarily the day the game is stocked. That's why you preorder and just don't worry about it; they'll call you when it's actually available, that way you don't waste a trip by going too early or miss out by waiting too long. |

What Crash said. However, if the date is a Thursday, then they'll almost certainly be selling it on that day since that's when most of the new games come out. Late Night Shopping and such, you see. |

Yeah, December 2nd is a Thursday. >_> And I can quite honestly say I've NEVER had that problem before. The times I've previously gone to get games on their release days, while the games haven't been on the shelves when I went in, all I had to do was ask and they'd give it to me; they had the games, they just hadn't gotten around to putting them on the shelves yet. |
