Though as an adult I still laugh at Bill Murray being mistaken for Dan Aykroyd. |

Screenshots. I hadn't realized that there was a scanline filter in the game until now, even though it was plainly visible in the very first screens we ever saw. |

This vidcon looks pretty snazzy. Also you know I just got to thinking, the first game's humor and references mostly catered hard to people that grew up in the 90s, for obvious reasons. I hope Barkley 2 ends up being the same way. Also semi-related and necessary as a reminder |

I'm not sure how deep into cultural references this one is gonna get. For legal reasons obviously but also because I don't think they actually need them to be funny. Most of the time the things that made any given part of Barkley funny were not just the references but more importantly the way that the complete absurdity was played so straight and so totallly embraced by the game that you the player even felt the need to take it seriously. From different stuff we've seen that still seems to be here 100%. Though now I'm remembering the DwarfNET screenshot of the Truckpump saying "Chex Quest is NOT. AN. RPG." so maybe some of it will still be there, just in different ways than before (less-storyline focus, probably) |

Yeah I suppose you're right. So long as it's at least a little bit (too much could get stale and dumb anyway), it's fine. I just thought the cultural references were a nice flavor to the game that was kinda nostalgic and fitting with the whole Space Jam thing. |
