Going by this, Aradia's ascension relies on a very unique set of rules because the normal real-self dying on the quest bed/in the quest cocoon obviously wasn't about to happen. In short, in her case, the dreamself had to die. Because she was already dead and her real self was thus not really about to die anyway. As she dies, she unpossesses her robot body which causes it to explode. She then moves to her dreamself's body and ascends. He could theoretically come back through something similar, I suppose, if not for another thing. Dream!Tavros died. On Prospit. By the hands of the demon, Jack. Who he did not see because he was busy sky frolicking as opposed to sleeping in quest cocoons. So yeah, by the looks of it, Tavros is the first player to burn through all his lives, though it's not inconceivable he's not quite dead.
