It was about Vriska. Yes, yes, we all knew she was already not dead anymore. Yes, yes, we all knew, on some level, this would change things substantially. And, Vriska being herself, she would be very, very involved in whatever changes. Then we got a flash detailing how Vriska was, in fact, absolutely critical to the new timeline not being a complete mess. A flash where we got to see it. It's not strictly new, in some senses, but it's still Vriska being herself, being as involved in the course of the narrative as she has been. But actually seeing how it worked out and simply having it implied are two somewhat different things, and perhaps more importantly, I'm mostly just amused by the idea of Vriska breaking the fanbase in half again.
