Agnostic, but I don't have to practice any more because I'm really good at it. Used to be atheist but then I realised that it made no sense to rule out the possiblity of a God. My view is that due to the nature of omnipotency we can never rule out the possiblity that in spite of all scientific proof, God did something that broke physics and did everything himself in a way that can't be understood by humans. Science can't combat this argument because science doesn't allow for anything that trumps physics So, I don't exactly believe in a God, though I believe it's possible. lol i sed trumps |

Catholic/Christian. But, honestly, my view of religion is... odd. Predominantly, I'm Christian, but I always view things from a scientific perspectiive and so, if I can argue with some sort of religion teacher, I can and will, but, similarly, I will also argue with a science teacher, given the oppurtunity. Maybe I just like to argue? ^_^ |

Pretty much this, it's not like I would practice anything related to my nonbelief. I simply don't believe in any of the religions. |

I'd be agnostic but I just don't care about religion as long as it doesn't have anything to do with me. |

I'm not really sure. My view is based, perhaps, on Christianity, but my ideas differ from what the majority of people take to be actual Christianity (e.g., going to church, premarital sex). I'm open to the possibility that there is no God, but I choose to believe there is. Even if I'm wrong, it doesn't hurt anyone if a belief is followed correctly; not many religions want you to hurt other people. None I can think of do. So in the end I suppose what I try to do is live a life with respect towards the people around me, while having faith in God, which I admit may not actually exist. But I believe He does. |

This. The only reason I was baptised was so I could go to a very good primary school. >.>;; Though I'm not sure there is a religion I'd rather have; I do good deeds, help others and always feel remorse if I do the wrong thing and apologise. I just try to be a good person at the end of the day. My friend always said I'm going to end up in Limbo, which makes me think my afterlife is going to be a big beach party. \o/ |

Did you go to a catholic school then, Peo? You know that the teaching isn't generally any better than at normal school?. They can just be a lot more selective about whom they let in. D: |

Not sure I'd call it Catholic really. I mean, we went to church every Friday and I thought it was okay. I didn't hate it, but didn't jump for joy at it either. Still, I did really like my primary school, so it's not like I had a huge problem with it at the end of the day. |

I realize I haven't posted a proper answer to this question. So, here goes. I was raised a Christian, but was never really active in pursuing my faith until recently. My high school years were the years in which I had the most doubts and struggles about Christianity. I would probably have labeled myself as a closet Agnostic at that point, as I was a missionary kid at the time and went to a Christian school, I didn't want to be labeled "that heathen kid." Towards the end of my senior year and right before college I was completely apathetic to religion, though I always believed in God. It was only during college that I sat myself down and really searched myself, to figure out what I believe in. I hate "Christian" dogma. I hate "Christian" close-mindedness. I hate it when "Christians" go on rallies and strikes and whatnot to proclaim their hate against homosexuals, military men/women, and pro-abortionists. In Christianspeak, I would probably be one of those crazy moderate Christians who believe that love & compassion towards other people are more important than condemning others to hell. Christianity is not about hate, it should be about love. It is people who twist it into something it's not. To quote Mahatma Gandhi: "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." Oh my gosh, Sabre Chance answered seriously to a question. Who woulda thunk? And sorry about the wall of text. Also my rants are not directed at anyone here ^^; Edited by Sabre Chance, Sep 3 2010, 11:12 AM.

Eh....i was technically baptised and confirmed as an episcopalean/christian, but i dont practice a religion at all....ever if i have my way. In truth i would say i'm more of an agnostic with Buddhist leanings....but more Zen Buddhism than other forms....so kinda like elk said, but i dont really believe in the possibility of a personifiable god. |

Officially I'm an Omnitheist, which basically means I think there's a kernel of truth in all religions, that they all worship the same being, and that the differences between the faiths are all based on humanity's inability to comprehend God as he actually is. However, I marked "Christian" because I also believe that Roman Catholicism is closer to the truth than others, even though none of the others are completely false. Neither is Catholicism completely right, for the record. |

I want to be invited to the beach party too! D: My parents are Christian but both me and my sister are not. I have no real qualms about having a religion, I just prefer to go my own way and find myself as time goes on. I'm not really an atheist either, but I don't really believe that there's one God that is all powerful and controls our fate. Just that some form of divinity exists and that there are reasons things happen in this world as a lawful and not chaotic philosophy. I also don't really accept the theory that we all have sin yet half the world is going to hell and cease to exist for all eternity. It just doesn't make much sense to me, but then again, there are many things I speculate on. DX That's about it, I guess. ^_^; |

I agree limbo sounds awesome but it would be cool if there were other games too, like Brawl and Monster Hunter Tri. But tbh purgatory is a much cooler name I'm aware limbo and purgatory aren't exactly the same things but really if there's a beach party with kradenettes who cares |

MY problem with christianity is that my parents have used it for the last 20+ years as a means to get their kids to do exactly what they want to. "You want to play D&D? Too bad, I think it's Satanic! And if you try to argue, you're breaking the Ten Commandments!"
