I hate them so much. DX Especially when I'm talking with 6 different people on Skype and MSN and working on something and haven't saved it yet when suddenly the electricity decides to go 'OH LOLOLOLOL GUESS WHAT IMMA TURN OFF FOR THE WHOLE DAY NOW AN YOU'LL BE ANGRY IT'LL BE HILARIOUS LOL K BAI' So does that happen to many of you? And is it often, or sometimes all of a sudden for no reason? Cause yeah that's exactly what happened to me today. For 7 hours. For absolutely no reason. No storms around or anything. Uuuuughhhh.... DX |

Happens to me at least once every other month, usually while I'm sleeping. The feeling of being woken up abruptly with only a few hours of sleep is one of the worst feelings in the world. =( It usually takes at least an hour, sometimes more, to get back on too. |

Totally agreed, Airi. Last time we got a power cut, I was in the middle of playing Final Fantasy VIII. I had just entered a battle, the camera was just zooming in on the battlefield and BAM! TV switches off suddenly, and it turns out to be a power cut. Fortunately, I didn't lose much data but I was very bored for the hour or so it took to come back D: |

This is why humanity developed books. Your power die? It's okay, you have a book to read! But yeah power outages suck .__. |

Or play DS until the power runs out. ![]() But man, that sucks Airi. D: *huggles* Our power-cuts are once in a blue moon and generally an hour/hour and a half long, so we never have to fear from something as long as the one you had. =( |

This is why humanity developed handheld systems! They are playable during the night! This is also why humanity developed sneaking around! If you're not caught, your mom won't notice! ALSO FLASHLIGHT. |

Yeah four of the seven hours of the power outage I spent reading my book. The other two hours were spent singing and air drumming power metal in the rain to clear my rage, and the first hour was spent actually raging and screaming at the PC. I didn't play my DS because I didn't know when I last charged it but it seemed kinda silly I didn't play it at all. DX Oh well. |

This is why humanity invented humor! When you don't want to make sense, you try to make it funny, and people don't question it! If you do it right. |

Too bad the power goes out around nighttime. :( So I usually have to read by candle light. Power outages in general are fun, but when it's winter, and it's freezing outside... not fun. X_x And it's usually me or my bro that set-up the generator (for lights and the tv). It's a pain in the butt to do, but someone's gotta do it. |

There was a huge days-long power outage around here a few years ago, but I missed it because I was on vacation in the south.

Because of the candles... and the fact that we get to walk around with flashlights. C: Kinda adds a creepy feel to everything... which is... fun. It's amazing how quickly the day runs out when you have no light to guide you. |
