Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.

You become a Kradenette.

Sound the horn and call the cry: "How many of them can we make die?"

Middle or front, but off to the side.

I like the back, partly because I usually turn out to be one of the most vocal in my classes. I tend to take courses in the psychology, philosophy, and literature departments, which merits lots of discussion if the students/instructor actually care about the subject.

Sitting in the back forces most everyone to turn around and look at me when I'm talking, which amuses me, because their expressions are always "Wait, Necare is talking but he's not in the front SHIT WHERE IS HE?"

Middle. Not the front because I hate not being able to see anybody else but the teacher - also being right in front means I can't drift off and stop concentrating for a bit. Back is where all the annoying people who don't care about class at all are, so I can't learn and I constantly want to hit and/or yell at people.

I dunno how it works in American schools/college, but in high school here they make us stand when we have something to say, so that effect gets somewhat lost.

Needs multiple options to be accurate, but I tend to favor the middle more than the back.

Middle for me, but again it depends on several things. If it's a small room I choose the back or middle, if it's a lecture hall I pick a side seat- quiet prof I move up to front-middle, loud one I sit comfortably in the middle, lousy prof I sit close to an outlet and don't give two shakes 'cause I get more from the class readings XP

Typically though, I find an outlet in whatever the room is and stick close to that.

More middle/back, but I'll sit anywhere as long as I'm towards an edge of the room. I'll even sit in the front row at times. But I just hate being surrounded by people, and I usually don't like having people behind me.

Adachi is not amused.

Front, but off to the side. Usually close to the door. This is not necessarily to allow for a speedy exit (though it has served that before), but simply because that's where I always seem to gravitate to. Allows me to talk to people as they enter/exit the class as well.

Currently, the right side of the room, second seat from the front, is where I tend to sit at college these days simply because there's a power point there for my laptop. *sagenod*

Necare's idea is intriguing, now that I think about it. I've had several classes where students were like that.

Buut...
Usually the front for me because that's where most of the action takes place. Unless it's a small classroom, the intensity of a professor's lecture fades towards the back.

Uh, my classes haven't been set up in rows for a long time, plus they're only around ten people in said class. So, uh, I don't really have a preference?

This, basically. Usually closer to the front than the back, though.

I feel obliged to point out that I made a complete 180 from high school to college. I hated my time in the former and always tried to be as elusive as possible in class, thereby, sitting in the back, side, or whatever most of the time. I still look at high school with disdain, sorry.

I must agree with Vae here - high school sucked. D: Good thing I'm essentially out of it now - it should be a lot easier to ignore the majority of people in Sixth Form \o/

Anyway, back, preferably near a corner. HATE HATE HATE being near lots of people in a class :U
