Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Wheey! I've became a human being!! I am very handsam!

I tried using my laptop in class when I first got to school, but it just never worked out. It would be too big for the desk, or not give me enough room for other stuff I needed, I couldn't do notes quite the same way I do on paper, I'd be too afraid of getting caught to screw around at all, so I just left it in my dorm after about a week. Makes me wish I had got a desktop instead, since that's where it stayed almost exclusively.

Also eating in class was like an everyday thing for me.

I only use my laptop in the classes where we sit at tables. Also only when I sit in the back :U

Is it abnormal to like and look forward to coming to class?

... maybe it's because I don't take courses in the hard sciences or something >_>

Ignore those idiots. They don't understand how awesome the front is.

Hey, I resent that. Hard sciences are the actual interesting classes >:c

And more like you have no idea how cool the back is.

Yay, I have support!

Actually, I was using a pretty skewed definition of "hard sciences," since, mentally, I associate them with the courses I resist, like Chemistry and Math (if that counts). I love Bio and stuff like that.

Not really, not when it's classes for your major that you've chosen and are excited about. I mean, I never particularly looked forward to my theology or maths classes, but Directing, Comedy and Theatre, Media Writing, and the like all had me eagerly paying attention and even anticipating the classes.

Also, samesies. My laptop was too bulky to carry combined with books, and I couldn't type notes with the same versatility I could handwrite them, plus my laptop used battery power like a thing that uses a lot of power. The only time I ever brought it to class was while in Italy, when the classrooms were just two floors down from my bedroom, and I didn't need or care to pay attention in those classes anyway, and there were outlets and wifi.

Frankly, I like a lot of the sciences, not just biology. It's only when a lot of math gets involved like in some chem courses where I start retreating. Hence, I would never consider business and accounting, either. Ultimately, I think math is the bane of my existence >_> I'm a lot more excited when it comes to the arts, humanties, and social sciences.

As a commuter who spends much of his time running around the place, I would have little time to use my laptop if I could handle carrying it, anyway.

I would never bring my laptop to school/college/whatever purely for the fear of losing or breaking it somehow :nyoron:
heh. the department of education gave us free laptops. except they're crappy 2gb ram netbooks.
