Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

There's a ton of public transportation around here, most notably the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) a subway system and a growing ferry service. Commuting across water FTW.

Problem is, they don't always get me to where -I- want to go.

xP GPS. Some of my RL friends think I'm weird since I never carry one around and call me their "personal GPS"/navigator. I practically have the map memorized, and in the instances when I'm not 100% sure which way I'm going, I use the position of the sun/skyline/nearby mountains/the coastline, and such, to tell if I'm going north, south, east, and etc, without really knowing it. >___>

... Well, I would if I bought a sense of direction or something >>;
True Story: Yesterday I was in Waco for business, and on the way back I managed to drive fifteen miles in the wrong direction on the Interstate. And even then the only reason I realized it was because I saw a sign giving me the mileage to Dallas, when I was supposed to be going to Austin.
That is when a GPS comes in handy. Were you going on I-45 to Dallas when you were suppose to take I-10 to Austin?
No, nothing that severe. Waco is on I-35 between Dallas and Austin. I just got on I-35 North when I should have been on I-35 South.

I-10 and I-45 meet in Houston, which, if I had ended up there, would have been a serious "I should never drive again" moment. :P

I can't dive, and it's a nightmare. It would make so many things so much easier. But it's so darn expensive to do, and neither I nor my family have the money. Bah. *Grumbles moodily*

And just to add to this; if any of you are ever in Virginia, there is now a 90% chance you'll be hit by a minivan. Watch out.

I can drive. And I failed the test the first time. In the first five minutes. And had to leave early. But I have gotten much better since then! XD

It's only because they wanted me to park at a perfect ninety-degree angle backwards! I'm a woman so I can barely manage to park forwards why would they ask me to park backwards? I can manage roads alright though so no worries. okay only a few worries.

I didn't think this part of the test was that hard. It was the next part of the parking test that was hard. Of course, it must be because I'm not a woman. =P

XD Yeah Bowse, the parallel parking sucked too... way harder on the test than it ever is in real life.

Not sure if a cab driver would be too happy to go all the way to Ohio. XD Not when he could stay in this far-superior state.

Okay, either I got the best driver's ed teacher in the state, or you all just suck at parallel parking. It was far easier to parallel park on the test than it is for me on the street, and because of my job, I end up parallel parking a lot.

Also, memo to self: never walk anywhere in Kiki's town if I even have the slightest inkling that she might be driving

I envy you Kradenettes who live close to one another. Faust left and Erik is elusive.
