Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Sound the horn and call the cry: "How many of them can we make die?"

Technically, yes, I can drive. I think I'm quite a good driver. I'm very calm behind the wheel.

Still got my learner's permit, though. I'm working on getting that license once I have a free week.

EDIT: Steve you're 20 years old and you can't drive? :wtf:
I guess now would be a bad time to mention that I don't even have a Learner's Permit and I'm turning 23 in less than a month?

o/, Grim.

I have a funny anecdote about why I never bothered learning to drive until recently, actually. My main reason for starting is because it's embarrassing to go to a bar and have to present your bloody passport as ID. ._.

The fact that so many people don't have licenses, Boyd? Yeah. >__>

And yes, alternative transporation FTW.

I got my license nearly three years ago, and in that time I have seen the WORLD.

Actually, I use a State ID that has "Not A Driver License" on it. :3

Never really felt that I needed a license all that much either. People keep saying it's essential, but I don't vacation and I either choose self-locomotive transport, get public transit, or mooch a ride off a friend.

Did the envy you garnered from my past pic threads play any part in that? xP

I happen to be an awesome driver. Crash can attest to my skills :nodnod:
I realize who you're actually referring to, but that's still an unfortunate name to cite considering the topic.

Back on topic: Yes, I can. I actually impressed my father on a recent trip to Louisiana.

If I could, I think I'd be worried. It'll be at least another two years until I'm even allowed to try, mruuw. And we -do- have public transport here. Yay for cities, I'll just subway and bus everywhere.

... Well, I would if I bought a sense of direction or something >>;

There's no way I'll lose!

Where I live in Alabama, there's no public transportation anywhere, and the roads are too dangerous to walk anywhere. -_-; So everyone drives, whether they have a permit or not. I refuse to drive without one though, for obvious reasons. XD

True Story: Yesterday I was in Waco for business, and on the way back I managed to drive fifteen miles in the wrong direction on the Interstate. And even then the only reason I realized it was because I saw a sign giving me the mileage to Dallas, when I was supposed to be going to Austin.

That is when a GPS comes in handy. Were you going on I-45 to Dallas when you were suppose to take I-10 to Austin?
