Dudes that randomly decided they wanted to be air monks? I always figured that only actual benders among the air nomads could be monks, like how all the fire sages are benders. Unless those are all Tenzin's nieces and nephews, they're definitely not airbenders. Also, Jinora's cute. Don't care much for the other two kids though.

I'm guessing that these are just people who want to learn the Air Nomad teachings [like mediation and wotnot] from Tenzin. Though I did notice that the movements of the 'fighters' resembled boxers rather than martial artists. I guess it works with the boxing ring motif, but I miss all the martial art movements.

Know what's gonna be insane? When Korra goes Avatar State for the first time. She's so reckless as it is, I can't imagine how destructive she'll be. More ammo for the Equalists to raise anti-bender sentiment, I'll bet.

That means no low-quality TV rips! Non-US people might have to do that though. One thing that bothers me is that every power that used to be rare is now common place. I don't see this as a flaw, or a plot hole or anything. I understand that as the world is revolutionized, these techniques would become more commonplace. Obviously Toph learns metalbending, so she'll teach people metalbending. Then you see a bunch of dudes lightningbending in the plant, which is cool, but a little weird. Message in your spoiler, because lazy

I agree with Crash, I don't think it's Energybending. Unless the only reason Aang and Ozai's light show happened was because of how powerful they were and how fundamentally different their spirits were, Amon's ability is probably just some kind of ultimate chi-blocking technique. For me that begs the question as to why it wasn't discovered before now, though, given people like Ty Lee have been around for quite a while. The hand position he used was similar to Aang's, but for my part, I actually doubt its permanence. I don't think Amon is as powerful as he thinks, and I seriously doubt the sincerity of his backstory. I'd be willing to bet that he fabricated a lot of that just to further his cause and clearly has some ulterior motive. He might even be a bender himself, because hypocrisy is delicious. And that stuff about being taught the chi technique by spirits because they've lost faith in the avatar? Pffffft.
