I can believe that big of a change occurred though; now the nations can divert their resources from military weapons and constructs to social purposes. Fire nation especially, with their steam power. Then you could guess that maybe Toph started teaching people how to metalbend since that had never been done before, that would make things a lot easier too. EDIT: omg J. K. Simmons (aka J Jonah Jameson from Spider-Man movies and Cave Johnson in Portal 2) is doing Tenzin's voice this is gonna be awesome
