Spoiler: click to toggle i have a hard time believing that was all it took to get Kuvira to stop, but at least it was clear at that point that she had no chance of winning. Pretty impressed with how much this show turned itself around in he back half!

But I'm glad they didn't try to outdo the Book 2 final arc, that would probably have been just ridiculous. There are two things I feel a bit unfulfilled on myself. First is Korra's severed connection to the past Avatars, it kinda saddens me that she never regained that. Second was the generally-small role spirits played in both Books 3 and 4. Except for the spirit vines, they played no important part in the series after Book 2 other than background decoration. I was expecting them to become more prominent after Korra opened the portals, not less.
