Okay, so far so good. I love the stuff with Tenzin and his family and Korra, some great lines there. On the Mako front I'm cautiously optimistic. The tension between him and Korra interspersed with them being lovey-dovey makes me think that maybe they'll handle the romance stuff more naturally. The stuff with Varrick, Asami, and Bolin looks really intriguing. And I love the aesthetic of the world, the very, like, 1920s feel. The thing with Tenzin and Korra's uncle, whose name I'm not going to try to write, it's like, really, you don't know by now not to try to tell Korra that you know what's best? You've driven her right to a new teacher with that behavior. But Unilaq (I think?) does seem to know what he's doing and like a dedicated guy, so the stuff with him will be cool to see. Overall I'm enjoying this season so far. It's too soon to really assess much about the overarching plot, but I like the main threads we're getting. Oh, and I definitely enjoyed Bumi and Kya's less than overwhelming reception at the air temple. You can tell that they're not used to being overlooked in favour of their brother. Speaking of brothers, not really sure that I like where they're going with Bolin. He's very good comic relief, but so far he gets nothing else.

Oh, and I tentatively like what they're doing with the northern water tribe getting all up in the south's business at the end there, because there's good potential for ambiguity. Let's hope they do well by it.

Overall, so far so good, I am cautiously optimistic, and I enjoyed these two episodes
