Like, jesus, they could at least have her work for it. It could've served as a start to S2, which I think is the perfect sequel hook. Already you have a conflict and a perfect reason to put in loads of character development. Overall I think LoK is just not as strong as TLA.

Who knows if there might even be an assassination attempt like what happened with Zuko in the Promise graphic novels in regard to Fire Nation withdrawals from the colonies. Also Korra needs to decide if it is considered moral or not to give back bending to the less dangerous ex-convicts.

Pretty much the entire movement saw Amon as a sham. That tends to undermine your credibility. Amon was also the only real threat. Also, now that Korra has the Avatar State, pretty much nobody can stand before her. The only person that ever stood against Aang in the Avatar State was Comet-Empowered Ozai, and even then it was only enough to just barely avoid a curb stomp battle.

Also, Seccy, just because Amon was the Equalist leader doesn't mean that, once he's gone, no one will have anger at the benders of Republic City. It's quite possible that another may step in to fill Amon's shoes. Inequality between benders and non-benders is a social problem that isn't tied to just one man.
