I am not a shipper, I really do not care who ends up with each other at the end but I find those points still valid. I really am most interested in how the equalist arc is going be resolved. |

I'm sorry you missed the point. @Lash: Agreed. LoK made me not want to ship a thing. Characters are all over the place and Makorra has just be shoved on our faces while every other character's feelings were thrown to the curb. Ignoring all the romance makes the show so much more interesting to watch. |

I have a theory Bryke is not only doing this on purpose for the shippers but to keep people on their toes about what side Asami will be on. Did she abandon everything due to love or is it because she truly believes that the Equalist cause is wrong? I really do not think they would do the same thing Zuko did at the end of season 2, though. |

I remember hearing something that Bryke did wanted to make romance an important factor in LoK, I just hate how it's going. It's not being a positive factor to the series. In fact, it's lowering the quality of the story. I just don't like how everything is being rushed/shoved at us. I think the plot is interesting, but the random romance constantly being shoved in at random, and rather inappropriate intervals keep throwing me off, and not in the good way. Well, whether the next focus is on Asami or not, I just hope they do it right. |

lol did you even read the blog complained about the pacing of the romance bullshit, how the characters were literally doing 180s, how subplots were dropping like flies, and Mako in general. Like goddamn shit's not even funny. Usually I just straight out avoid anything tumblr or anything of the sort but the author has very valid points. |

Did they ever explain why Combustion Man could combust? Did they ever explain why Azula had blue fire? What did Iroh do in the Spirit Realm? etc Not everything has to be laid out and explained. And anyway, the explanation in the show of "They're just incredibly gifted" works for me. There are people in real life with insane talents and abilities that seem to go completely against the natural way of things, too. |

Yes, they did. Just not in the show. [Damn word of god]. Azula was simply a prodigy. "One whose likes the world will never see again." Remember she KILLED Aang in the avatar state, and the only reason she lost was because she was insane. The short answer that was a direct quote is "She puts more power into her flames, so they burn hotter." Combustion man just had it as a special type of firebending, and he was unable to do the normal type. He lost his limbs when he was a child and blew himself up. His eye focuses it for him. In the spirit realm, Iroh was looking for his son. [Evidence for the fan theory that his son was stolen by the face-stealer]. |

Actually, Combustion Man did use normal firebending at least once. When his bird intercepted the message to the Fire Lord that Aang was alive, he burned the letter. |

That's interesting. Maybe they just forgot, or maybe setting fire to things like paper is easy, but he can't shoot fire blasts etc. like normal Firebenders. |
