Also, I think the problem with Nisemonogatari is the fact that there's only two arcs and 11 episodes to fill them in with. Which leaves a lot of room for the source material to stretch out. Unfortunately, a lot of it is considered filler.

It's not a great anime, and its popularity is marred by the huge mass of rabid fangirls, but it's still good. also stop reminding me of all the oldie anime that I still have to watch, like Trigun and Outlaw Star.
