Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

first season is good

2)girls go yandere about it

literally nothing else

Screw you, watching Penguindrum is akin to unwrapping a large present only to realize halfway through that the entire thing was just different colored layers of wrapping paper and by that point you've already separated who does and doesn't want to continue unwrapping.
There is a present in the end, and it's worth it. Your ineptitude to appreciate the appeal of each layer and your insolence to denounce them as simply colorful brings shame to the structural integrity and contextual significance(and not to mention the adorable penguins) that penguindrum has wrought us in the form of illuminating salvation!

THE PENGUINDRUM HAS DEEMED YOU UNWORTHY!!!!!

Ah, I meant that the show isn't for everybody, not that it sucks. It's fascinating and deep, but you have to suspend your disbelief to an extent where you simply enjoy the anime's atmosphere rather than its story. Some might find it fun to speculate and analyze each episode and the new elements it introduces, but others will simply find the whole light show to be boring and self-important on the anime's part after a certain point.

Finally got around to watching FullMetal Alchemist. Loved it, but it made me really confused at the end.
Only at the end?

Think I'm going to have to watch the last 2 or 3 episodes again, just to understand what the hell happened. Have to get the movie now.
щ(゚Д ゚щ) WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT IT ONLY GETS WORSE! I mean, what movie?

If any of you are following Bakuman (Not the anime because why would you do that), the latest chapter touches on one the most perplexing aspects of popular media: fandoms and gossip. In particular, the fact that in pop culture people are pressured to stay "in character" throughout their entire career. If anything, anything, goes against that image and, worse, is found out by the internet, shit goes down in the fastest and worst ways possible. Fans become outraged. They send death threats over the phone and through e-mail. They destroy related merchandise and post the photos on the internet to show how angry they are. And the media goes on a field day feeding off the spectacle unfolding. Like when the mangaka for Kannagi drew the image of the titular character pregnant, or when Aya Hirano was talking about her love life in an interview. I just find it interesting that it happens, whether out of honest rage or a lack of anything better to do.

Now this little blurb makes me want to watch Perfect Blue. Dammit, now I have to watch that. And every movie Satoshi Kon has directed. Now Tokyo Godfathers is on that list too.

Happens to an extent in western fandoms. It's hilarious in a baffling way. Fandom is insane.

Got the next volume of Rave Master I needed! I've about eight more left to finish the series, which I started collecting when I was, oh, a sophomore in high school.

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Spring2012Anime

So, second season of Fate/Zero and Eureka Seven Ao. This I like.

Maybe Natsuiro Kiseki and Hyouka, because I like eye candy and these are being done by P.A. Works and KyoAni respectively.

Medaka Box. I'm interested in seeing how Gainax is going to handle that one, and I follow the manga. It's very shounen, though.

Nazo no Kanojo X, or Mysterious Girlfriend X, is a manga I've been following for a while now. Its premise is kinda wonky, and honestly isn't that great, plus the animation studio did Seikon no Quaser and, uh, porn. Though I find the manga's approach to fanservice more sophisticated than the majority of stuff out there. Eh, I'll be taking a look at it if only because I read the manga.

Funimation announced the Shiki dub cast. I can't wait to hear it and see how it compares it to the original.

XFD @ the AKB48 anime. I'll have to at least check that out, just because of how ridiculous it sounds.

Also, Eureka Seven Ao. [radio edit] yeah.
