Spoiler: click to toggle -Fate/Zero started with the desire to bring KnK's quality to TV -A portion of Caster+Uryuu's antics in their hideout were cut from episode 6's broadcast because they didn't want kids to see it Some voiced parts were also cut Everything that has been cut will be on the BDs -The guro is not supposed to be a selling point They portray everything that can't be avoided, but they don't exaggerate any nastiness -There are abrupt cuts to trees (lol?) during the Einzbern forest and Caster scenes in ep 7, but please put up with them More voiced parts were cut These cuts were self-imposed -Examples of scenes that were cut for various reasons and will be on the BD Episode 2: Ilya and Kiritsugu saying goodbye Episode 3: Iri and Saber at the airport discussing whether or not their clothes are out of place Episode 6: Gil and Kirei discussing their principles Episode 7: A conversation between Iri and Saber \| Confrontation between Saber and Kiritsugu A lot of Episode 7 has been shaved down -Excalibur was actually animated and was then covered up with the CG used for Invisible Air -The same thing was done with Berserker; the supervising animator fixed him up and everything The CG is placed on top of that animation and then photos that were used are processed Kunihiro-san was in charge of Berserker's animation in ep 5 -A lot of discussion was had over the idea of wanting F/Z to "be that anime series you look forward to every week" -Reason F/Z is released in a BD box: It's a show they want you to watch all at once, not volume by volume Impossible to include all the extras [52 page pamphlet, bonus footage, and other great stuff] at the typical price of individual volumes -Where F/Z is in production The scenario is complete \| continuity has made it to around ep 20 Production is moving along as planned and is doing well -Progress is slowly but surely being made on Girls' Work I posted everything important but if you want the other little stuff too, here. Anyway, so yeah, not really looking forward to episode 7 then. I can understand why the other stuff was cut, but, uh, a confrontation between Kiritsugu and Saber? That's kind of important. And seeing what Caster does (I think he crushes a kid's head in his hands again, among other things) would be much more effective, especially given the reactions Irisviel and Saber will have to this. Hell Rynnosuke and Caster pretty much cross the line twice but right now? Not nearly as much. In the novels you'd be disgusted at this point with Rynnosuke using a still living loli's intestines as as an organ but here? Here you don't get that, just the implication that (thanks to the fact that the loli's screams were cut) he's messing with a corpse. Which is still bad, but not nearly as much. Ah well, at least the stuff is there and just cut instead of not animated at all, I'm sure somebody will upload the BD versions once they come out. Also best part about episode 6 was Brogamesh the psychiatrist. Fridge Horror in Gilgamesh finding Tokiomi boring though: Yes, Tokiomi, bore the ancient hero that became a dick entirely because he was bored. That will end well. --------------------------- Carnival Phantasm Berserker is the greatest character on the show. With his tennis skills, new Noble Phantasm, and his faithful companion Lancer, he never fails to disappoint. I'm pissed that the Saber/Gilgamesh focused episode is the last one though, I'll be waiting for that forever Also, goes to watch episode 6 EDIT after episode 6: ಠ_ಠ Edited by Gilgamesh, Nov 6 2011, 08:08 PM.

The only thing I didn't quite like was the apparent lack of anything useful from the Reverse Transmutation Circle - they talked about it undoing Philosopher's Stones and rendering them useless, or something, but from what I saw, it did...well, nothing. Not sure what to start next, actually. I'm thinking Evangelion, simply because I've never seen it, but I also sorta want to find out where I left off in GTO and finish that, too.

I'm thinking Evangelion, simply because I've never seen it, but I also sorta want to find out where I left off in GTO and finish that, too. the reverse transmutation circle nullified the layer of Philosophers stone underneath the entire country. that layer is what made "father" able to snap his fingers and turn off Alchemy.

Also this episode was better than I thought it would be, sure, still censored but unlike last episode you could actually tell what happened. Also Rider continues to be amazing and [radio edit] yeah, finally badass Kiritsugu and dat Iri.
