True Name: simplechild	So I have discovered an anime club at my university, and I'm intrigued just by the concept of it and will go to the meeting to see what it's like. Though I kinda avoided my high school anime club for a reason.

True Name: simplechild	Actually this anime club watched the whole series of Star Driver last year, as far as I've heard. And they've followed series like Bakemonogatari and Durarara in the past as well. Of course the usual moe/harem stuffs (BakaTest, Infinite Stratos) are also added into the mix too. I think this might be a good group to investigate.

True Name: simplechild	Oh look, a fansub group got ahold of it on Anime Take. Downloading foreverrrrrrrrrr EDIT: From what I've seen, it does stay true to the light novels, though obviously even a 47-minute episode still isn't enough to cover all of the characters introduced and all the details the light novel covered. There's still Caster and his master to be seen, after all, and Archibald wasn't given much of an introduction.

Unless that group just kept the official subs. Did they? And is that download in like, 720/1080p? On that note, holy [radio edit], the official subs were impressive, they actually got terms like Conceptual weapon right. And no Engrish! Anyway, yeah, it's very faithful to the novels so far, I hope it stays this way all the way though, since the writer said they had enough episodes to have the full plot AND some additional content. Also, as far as I can remember (it's been a year since I read the first novel) they didn't really leave anything out; Archibald didn't get much of an introduction in the novels either, (in fact, we see Lancer before we see him again) and Caster was summoned last, so he and his Master'll probably be in the next episode.

So much hype now. They seem to be reorchestrating tracks from the game, and I love the way they seem to be handling the fight scenes. Not to mention Olivier being the BEST CHARACTER EVER. EDIT: Also, Braco. I just started Busou Renkin. After watching the first episode, I can say that it's probably the most mecha non-mecha I've seen (save for s-CRY-ed). While this means I'll probably love it, it also makes me question how the hell you like it with your apparent anti-shounen-ness. :U (yes I will never leave you alone about this) EDIT 2: [radio edit] yes this anime has an awesome opening theme. SO HOT-BLOODED.
