Not because I don't like it, but I've just been procrastinating on watching anime all these years. Between the games I play and watching streams, I just kept pushing it further and further back. But thanks to the marathon, I finally got around to watching three anime series that I've wanted to watch, those being Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, New Game! and Gabriel Dropout. I didn't catch the entirety of the first two, but I really enjoyed what I watched of them and I loved Gabriel Dropout. I plan to go back and watch the other two in their entirety as well. Hopefully this will be the spark that I needed to finally get myself back into the anime scene. There's a lot more that I want to watch, I just need to do better at making time for it.

So I also ended up catching most of Akashic Records today as well, which I also really enjoyed watching. I missed the first episode or two, so I'll have to go back and watch those at some point. Going to need to see which of these series are getting second seasons as well. I think I heard that New Game! has one, or is getting one, so that's definitely something I'm going to have to look into. My gaming time took a huge hit the last two days, but in the end it was worth it. I had a lot of fun watching these series. Too bad the re-run of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid is at 4:30 AM for me, so I can't tune in to catch the episodes I missed.

I hope they bring up the quality for Goku vs Jiren, and some actual fighting instead of just that mindless standing-still-just-ATATATATAT'ing-while-the-other-one-blocks-and-does-nothing that Vegeta's been doing so far. Also apparently Diana and Akko kissed, got married, had children, and ended homosexuality forever, according to lesbian tumblr. Man, now I don't know what to do. I don't know if I have the attention span for the prequel thingy. It was pitched as being unnecessary, like a story set in the same universe that has some cameos in the current one.

That'd probably be close enough and more self-contained. especially since Virgin Soul is still mostly a POLITICS/racism/adventure/dramatic fantasy story.
