I ended up pretty much binge watching Serial Experiments Lain. I really liked it. It was weird and bizarre but series like Lain or NGE tickles my balls real good. I think I'm just going to jump straight into Texhnolyze. |

Really glad you liked it, Kitten! I think it's held its age really well, and despite the shoestring budget there's a ton of creativity that carries it, imo. also "tickles my balls" is a hilarious phrase Bahamut Virgin Soul continues to be pretty good/my jam, even if it's not high art by any means In terms of guiltier pleasures, GBF had a kind of bad recent two episodes, the reason for which is basically summed up by this Crunchyroll comment: "Io is incredibly annoying. Her voice is stupidly high, her lines are forced, and her storyline is boring. Just delete the character, please." |

Yeah the merger happened a while ago, maybe last year? I've been able to circumvent Funi's shitty media player because of it lol |

Your Lie in April, more like Your Cry in April lololol (seriously, these characters are always crying) This show is getting damn good though. I've never cried over a work of fiction but this could possibly do it. |

It's true, you probably will cry about how awful it was and how much time you wasted watching it when you finish it. |

Some of the drama definitely feels forced but I really like Kosei's story as a whole so far. |

So how's that BLAME adaptation that came out recently? I read the first few chapters of the manga several years ago but never followed up on it. My brother recently rec'd it to me so I've been meaning to give it another shot. |

Forgot to make a big post about Stardust Crusaders once I finished it and I'm not going to now, so I'll just say I really liked it and I'm sad it's over. I had a good time with it. Now I'm having trouble getting into Diamond is Unbreakable the cycle continues... |

The only subgroup I've found that have confirmed they'll sub the full series in Blu-Ray won't release it until sometime in July apparently. So still no DiU for me. |

oh shit, I had no idea Blame finally got an adaptation, that's awesome even if it's just a film I think? It definitely is a little tough to get into the manga at first but I had a hard time putting it down after the second volume or so(whenever Cibo gets introduced). I feel like you'd enjoy the setting and art style, it's like bleak desolation 101 but also really interesting and fantastical with all the different inhabitants of the city. If you're familiar with Lain, Texhnolyze and Ergo Proxy it has somewhat of a similar narrative style to it that lets the reader connect the dots and figure things out on their own, except with more relentless explosions and action scenes. Started Last Exile earlier, looks really interesting from the first several episodes and the 3DCG holds up surprisingly well for an early 2000s series. |

Great chapters from One Punch Man and Seven Deadly Sins this week. Saitama never stops being satisfying. Wonder if they're actually going with Saitama getting two disciples? As for Seven Deadly Sins, Zeldris seems to be an absolute monster. Making a monster like Merlin get fucked that bad must mean you're a monster among monsters. Cant' wait for fully powered Seven Deadly Sins vs fully powered Ten Commandments. It's going to be some overpowered DBZ shit. Also, Escanor is Clark Kent confirmed. |

Fairy Tail is such a joke. 9 chapters left and I'm finding it really hard to care about anything that's happening. Oh, and a character "thought dead" is actually ALIVE! How many times has this happened now? I will admit that the scene in the latest chapter with Mavis and Zeref was pretty touching, but it doesn't save this terrible arc in the least. |

I gave up on Fairy Tail back when everyone pretty much died, a timeskip happened, and then everyone not-died nor did they age. |

Damn, the latest One Piece chapter. That took a dark turn. Like straight out of a Brothers Grimm story. I loved it. And I had missed that the new OP movie is out, so I'm going to watch that asap. As for My Hero Academia, very nice to see Suneater take the spotlight. |

One Piece Gold was great. The animation was great, Tesoro was a great villian, the music was on point and the final battle was hype as fuck. The three latest OP movies have been pretty damn great. not including that weird 3D movie I hope they eventually use the final battle music in the anime.
