I am. I'll watch it when it comes to American theaters with official subs. Which they do before the raw is even available online. see when a film is screening on actual theaters it tends to not have any high quality rips online, unless theyre illegal camrips because, y'know, it'd defeat the purpose of movie screenings if you can watch the movie without going to the theater at the same time its in the theater. |

Started watching March comes in like a Lion at my roommate's recommendation and it's really promising so far. The art direction and cinematography is what won me over at first but I'm really liking how it deals with its more serious themes while still being a fun and silly show. minor spoilers but not really Bump of Chicken needs to do more anime openings/endings too, this and the ED are my aesthetic [youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B94u1ZufJFE[/youtube] EDIT: Oh god I just referred to something as my aesthetic, send help pls |

I know some anime movies make it to American theaters, like Your Name, but I wasn't aware Kizumonogatari was one of them. On the subject of Monogatari, this series in general is way better than I remembered it being. Especially the first season, I thought it was meh when I first watched it, but I appreciate it a lot more now. |

Don't know if I've mentioned it before but I've been hearing a lot about JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and seen a lot of memes (I finally understand the Pillar Men memes) and stuff. So eventually I had to check this phenomenon out. Currently at Battle Tendency. It's a great mix of hype and ridiculousness. I love it. |

Done with Battle Tendency. Loved every minute. Those 5 last episodes were quite the ride. Phantom Blood was great, Battle Tendency was even greater, and I've heard that Stardust Crusaders is a fan favorite. Now I don't know the actual story and I don't want to be spoiled but I do know that they'll introduce a new power called Stands and that the ORAORAORAORAORA meme, which has been referenced in several animes I've watched, comes from Stardust Crusaders. Also, judging from the last scene after the credits in Battle Tendency, it seems the main man himself is coming back in Stardust Crusaders. Jesus christ the ride never ends for the Joestars does it. What? I mean sure the time/generation skips could work for standalones I suppose but so far the story arcs have been connected in several important ways. That would be like starting in the middle of Naruto and be like "yeah its a show about ninjas I don't need to know the backstory of anything or anyone". That's like the main difference between manga and western comics. In Marvel and DC comics you can start anywhere anytime, you don't need to read the +900 previous issues to get into the characters and stories. But starting at chapter 500 of a 1000+ chapter manga? No can do. |
