Focusing on Kageyama's brother, making Onigawara more sympathetic and joining the muscles club, the student council president's (lol I love how Shinji has automatically become the dickbag name) own insecurities and garbage bed, etc. Prisma Illya ep 7 Ilya is my aesthetic No but seriously, as a protagonist, I love how Ilya plays the snarking straightwoman to all the weird things going on around her (Erica + Bodysviel, Beatrice's Julian fetish, maid Rin and Luvia), yet also doing ridiculous shit like True Magic'ing a cotton doll to be able to move/speak and Sapphire!Doll is too good As epic as Prisma Illya ends up getting, at this point it's nice that it's just genuinely fun/entertaining. It's a good break from the serious stuff. Though at the same time, the scene of Bodysviel slowly walking up to meet Miyu, and Miyu's reaction/the cutaway just as she starts to tear up was pretty effective. Erica and Angelica discussing it afterwards was a good way for the viewer to imagine it/feel it that way Also Erika and Angelica preferring dolls/the container to the contents was sweet. big sister!Angelica is such a great/gentle side of her, considering what you see in all other situations

Trying to think of what else to say but the last 3 episodes have me pretty messed up, so I'll just leave it at that. It was also one of the first anime in a long time that I couldn't just sit down and watch, I had to really be in the right mood to take it in. Now I don't know what to do with my life. Everyone keeps talking about Re: Zero so maybe I should jump on that?
