Ougi totally figured it out and I totally didn't, even though a lot of the clues were specifically there. I think I know what she's getting at, and I love how I - like Araragi, or perhaps because I was seeing it from Araragi's perspective, completely missed it - That Oikura was maybe hoping Araragi could do something about the domestic violence in her family, like by getting his parents involved or telling them, and that she did everything she could for him to notice (short of outright telling him, of course), but he was so wrapped up in himself that, despite his sense of justice, he was unable see the person right in front of him. - but wait, how does that jive with Oikura telling him never to investigate who she is? Let's see if that gets explained 18:33: Bam, explained I think. Oikura didn't want to be responsible for prosecuting her family, or as an abuse victim herself, didn't want to actually call for help (stockholm of a sorts?). So if she explicitly told Araragi not to, and then he went and did it anyway, then it wasn't her fault, right? 21:00 OH SHIT AND TSUBASA POINTS OUT WHAT I TOTALLY MISSED How would Oikura have known that Araragi's parents were police officers? Would totally watch an anime about the "fairy of mathematics," with Euler's Identity emblazoned on her cheek. I also really like the layout of this shot. The various triangles of the rafters and intersections/subdivisions/angles establish it as a place where math, and the amusement of mathematics are sacrosanct, a kind of "sanctuary" to mathematics. But at the same time, within that (and thanks to the spotlighting), the round table really stands out against all those angles, as both a special place and a place where something not-only mathematics is involved, something fuzzier and less clearly defined: the space of human interactions. Incidentally, the lit-up and colourful globe also stands out beside the table in the room. Though that, too, Ougi tries to reduce and define and elucidate in a way that's pure mathematics. Next week hopefully will resolve Sodachi Riddle, but I'm enjoying a lot of the insight into Araragi's character. And I think it's interesting where this mathematics thing came from, and how he topped/surpassed even Oikura, his one-time tutor, in mathematics. It's hard to see where mathematics and that kind of stuff was evident explicitly in Araragi's character until now, but I wonder if it was present in some of the ways in which he resolved or interacted with other problems until now. I'm not sold on the pre-eminence of mathematics in Araragi's character yet, though the justice angle, very much so. I await some kind of Ougi or Araragi-style revelation on what I've missed so far, if such a thing exists. Looking forward to next week! On a more general thing, Noragami Aragato is pretty fantastic, and has plot/pacing that's just a wild ride from the word go - it's only ep 3, but shit is already seriously getting real. Silvy told me the last few episodes of the last season were anime original, so that explains the sudden severe dip in quality there. >_>

You might not have a good time if you liked GitS: SAC. Kusanagi looks fine, bruh. also thats not even dubstep dont be basic
